My 21C Howling Commandos (MCU inspiration)

My little list of characters I'm using for an MCU version of a modern Howling Commandos unit. Inspired by Nathan Edmondson & Mitch Gerads' version of the Howling Commandos as seen in The Punisher, with shades of their earlier work in The Activity. So, all rather realistic, e.g. Joey Chapman's 'Union Jack' is a large patch worn on the front of his plate carrier.

Obviously, it goes without saying that they're all SHIELD agents (which is a break with the established canon for half of them!), and they're all capable with a gun and spy stuff. Their 'villains' are TBD at the moment.

List items

  • Team Alpha Leader. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Being older (!), b) Not having the blood transfusion from Isaiah, c) No shield.

  • Team Alpha. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Appearance more in keeping with his Ultimate version, b) Being less prone to forgetting personal information about himself.

  • Team Alpha. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Not being married to Natalia, b) Looking more like his 'Ronin' self, c) Being a similar age to Nat (i.e. not as old as history makes him)

  • Team Alpha. Differs from her 616 history by; a) Being a bit older (24), b) her parents have their 1610 background, c) Entering SHIELD as a way of dealing with her attack.

  • Team Bravo Leader. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Being a former SAS officer, b) Not coming into contact with the Pendragon force, c) No vampires!

  • Team Bravo. Differs from her 616 history by; a) Not being 'powered up' (yet), b) Being a former SRR operator, c) Being rather young (26 at the time of Iron Man), d) Her 'costume' is more in keeping with her recent revamp (when not in tactical gear).

  • Team Bravo. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Not having a chaingun for an arm, b) Not being a criminal...

  • Team Bravo. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Not being a vigilante, b) Not joining the Young Masters.

  • Their Quinjet pilot. Differs from his 616 history by; a) Not being in NASA, b) Not getting his hands on the gem, c) Being single (i.e. not married to/divorced from She-Hulk).
