This show needs to get better and soon. The spider cycle is unnecessary, spider-man being arrogant and lacking responsibility, very against character. Yes, I know he is a teenager, but he's the one with the experience in the show and he became a hero to be responsible. I'm still giving it a chance but it's definitely on the bottom of the shows I'm watching right now, right up there with Voltron Force.

It was a good show. I have watched both the original and the 90s reboot. I thought the update of the characters was good. The stories were well done for this series. There were times this series felt like an X-files for kids. As far as the Ben 10 overshadowing, the series are separated by ten years so how can one overshadow the other when there is such a separation as well as such different story lines. I would like to pick up the DVDs and watch them and show them to my kids as well.

The movies were great with visual effects. The stories were okay, but could have been better. The female leads sucked and were nothing but eye candy. The male lead was erratic and needed to be medicated. The human/bot interaction was okay. A fourth film seems forced and with Bay on board who has said he doesn't understand the appeal of the Dinobots I don't see the next film going anywhere interesting. It has potential but I'll wait and see.

I think we will be teased with this relationship for some time. I personally liked when they were married. I like many others didn't like the idea of One More Day. They've tried to change Spider-man before and make him single again and have seemed to fail each time (the Clone Saga, One More Day), with the fans. When Peter was younger it made sense for him to date, when he got married it also made sense. The character progressed. I don't understand why people have a problem with a superhero with a stable relationship.

My wife has an interest in art. She has been interested in the art in comics. She fell in love with Micheal Turner's art. She also has enjoyed several good stories. Batman: Hush, Madame Mirage, Witchblade, Spider-man, Fathom, Soulfire, etc. I am a very lucky guy because I married someone interested in comics.

I am confused about the sudden outrage. Where is your outrage with Zenescope, TopCow, Image and other publishers who have been putting out scantily clad men and women for many years? Look at cartoons like He-Man, Thundercats, and many more. Look at Conan the Barbarian, Red Sojna, and any number of the medieval kinds of stories and comics. Look at the television shows, magazines, advertisements, movies etc. throughout our culture that have sexism in them throughout. Where is your outrage? Your argument here is a moot point.

Enjoyed the article.  I've been working on a story for awhile now and luckily I have an artist willing to work for free(my wife).  We both have jobs so I don't know when this project will get off the ground but I will definitely take your advice.

His knowledge of his powers should give him an edge against anyone with similar powers.  His brain should be at the forefront of defeating those with spider powers.  In martial arts knowing your opponent gives you an advantage in defeating them.  If you combine spider-man knowing his opponent with his fighting ability and his tech advances he will be much more formidable.
