Thor is a warrior born. He cannot die he will rise again, and he won't have a black costume and a stupid mullet.

But toe to toe in a fight Supes is faster and stronger. His weakness to magic and in particular magic lightning is well documented, Shazam. Thor would put the royal whupping on the blue Boy Scout. No K just a good old fashioned beat down Viking style. Even Ali could out fight a weakened pre-crisis Superman.

Freeze breath can't effect Thor bc of his experiences with frost giants and heat vision can be absorbed by Mjolnir.

@Gambit1024: I think you are right. The death may be more literal, and a new Batman will emerge.

For the Record, I remember watching the debut of "Heart Of Ice" with my family when I was ten. That show was an instant classic. Absolutely perfect Batman, Villains, and overall tone.

It is the final Nolan/Bale batman flick, and what better way to go out? Bane broke the Bat, but in this world maybe he kills him and sends him into martyrdom. That would end the series on a dark note, and any later film would be obviously separate.

This just speaks to the Superman is a jerk thing.  I'm sure most of you have seen it.

Ok I am pretty sure she called Captain Marvel  Flash at  the 2 minute mark.  Not only is that unacceptable, I bet she's been saying that all day!

I always thought Jor-El and Lara were the first couple to fall in love in generations.  They were also the first to procreate naturally, not in test tubes, in generations or even millenia.   I think it stands to reason that Lara's sense of romance with Jor-El overpowered any maternal instinct she probably didn't have.
