I just don't get it. What was so great about Infinity? There was so much crammed into the mini-series, that a huge majority of it was mostly narrated, summarized comic panels rather than dialog and story.
I guess the whole bit with the Inhumans and average people having their inhuman DNA activated is the most interesting development, but I don't get what was so great outside of that. The Thanos origins mini-series that served as a prologue was 100 times more entertaining.
Marvel events consistently disappoint me. I always find them lackluster.
Not that DC is any better... they suck a little too. Trinity War was garbage. Zero Year is boring.
The Forever Evil story I like a lot... but all the tie-ins (ARGUS, Rogues) and Forever Evil month is junk. Especially Forever Evil month... what a load... because as soon as the month ended, all the books jumped right back into the story-lines that preceded it. How confusing. DC couldn't have at least waited for most plots to finish first, then jump into Forever Evil? Makes no sense.
But... the difference between my distaste for Marvel events vs DC events... at least the DC events don't cause me to abandon their other books. I can count which Marvel books I regularly read on one hand. That's missing a thumb. And the pinky.
