Oh wow, so Superman gets his costume in Action Comics #8? Awesome.

I don't mind the changes. I like the youthful update and new powers. maybe they'll be more fearsome now? i could never take them seriously in their silver age days.
I was so underwhelmed by Tony Daniel's run on Detective Comics in the New 52. The villain lacked true substance and inspired little fear, which made him appear like a recycled premise from the shock schlock of the 90s or whatever torture porn is out in theaters around Halloween. Maybe the DC execs will shake-up the creative team of this title soon, especially since it pales in comparison to Scott Snyder's current run in "Batman" and his pre-New 52 run in Detective Comics.
this will be interesting if it starts by telling us how long doctor octopus has left to live in terms of a countdown clock and then as every issue progresses shows us getting closer to his final hours/end-game xanatos gambit maneuver. i don't know, just an idea. if he lives past this event then i'll be sorely disappointed.
Absolutely. Then again, Scott's X-Men operate like members of a sovereign nation so of course they'd need their own scientists and research departments.
It's going to be interesting having her write her first team book. The people on the roster look like people she enjoys writing (Gambit) and people who have been forgotten who she'll no doubt do a great job with (North Star, Karma, Ice Man, and Cecilia Reyes).
You mean that they'll cover her past as survivor of the Romanov family, that Wolverine is basically her godfather, that's she's about Steve Roger's age? I mean... she has so many convoluted stories.
it was suggested in generation x that she had telekinetic potential. if she's going to replace jean grey in the hearts and minds of x-men and x-fans, she might as well possess tk. i mean even the phoenix force tried possessing her once.
I hope this "break" for Jim Lee isn't a sign of him falling into old habits with his art duties and deadlines.
