A team designed to counteract direct threats to America, Omega strike was destroyed from within by defectors, traitors and double agents. However, what if Solo had reformed Omega strike? Here is a list of possible candidates who would fit into an anti-terrorist group
Head of a reformed Omega Strike, James Bourne brings together a new team to defend against the resurgence of Leviathan, Hydra and demobilised aspects of the now defunct HAMMER. Only member able to converse with Anti-Cap, as both men have lost friends in the line of fire. Teleportation ability could be extended to act as the team's method of transport, though each jump drains Solo.
Hero for hire, mercenary and ladies man. Would bring with him experience and information on HAMMER's former operations garnered during his time with the Thunderbolts.
Former ally of the Punisher. Would provide street level knowledge and an everyman type of figure. Could call upon the Punisher and his allies for support. Has good ties to high ranking friends in the police, which may provide him with access to a steady stream of arms.
With Paladin she would provide a link to Heroes for hire, great for crossovers. Would bring with her a political and outside awareness of terrorism far from the Americanised propaganda of 'good guy', 'bad guy'. Possesses the resources to fund the team.
Driven, obsessed individual who would give the team a more ruthless edge. Physical Brawn on a par with Captain America and generally a loose cannon, would serve as a saboteur, assassin and shock troop. Useful to have round due to his links with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). The team's Pariah.
Weapons specialist and expert operative, Maverick would provide the information centre of the group with a list of informants and ties to weapon X. Nevertheless, he would be regarded with suspicion by the others due to his role in the creation of strike force X in recent wolverine issues and most likely possesses his own agenda. Gets along well with Sable and Solo, though Payback may dislike him due to his hidden agenda.
The final member of the team, X Cutioner would provide the last resort option for the team, acting in a solo capacity similar to the anti-cap. Would deal with superpowered threats, though he may clash with Maverick due to his past actions against mutants. Would get on famously with the Anti-Cap.
