The no.1 son, killed before his time. Took on the Titans and was only killed by his made in Taiwan powers. Physically stronger than his dad, could be an interesting villain if he's ever given the resurrect treatment.
We all know he's the best Azrael. Had a cool mini series with Joe Quesada doing pencils (for a DC comic notably). Was around for No Man's land and the Clench and deserves better treatment by writers. Denny O'Neil's brainchild.
I like this guy, he could have been used for the Green Lantern Black ops division (or corpse). Instead, he was made a sacrificial lamb for Parallax, which sucked *$!<.
Interesting guy. Didn't know about him until a few months ago, but would be interesting if he had a teenage son/daughter with powers;a sort of twisted parody of his Brother Deathstroke and Rose Wilson.
Has one of the most interesting ongoing comics and has great characterization. He needs a showdown with Black Beetle pronto. Had a great crossover featuring Black Beetle, Deathstroke and the no 1. character.
Love him or hate him.
Interesting concept. It's good to see that he was given some attention in Grim Hunt. Looks better clean shaven and around Peter's height (as in grim hunt)
Best Character in Nicieza/Grummet's run of Thunderbolts in 2005. Laid the smackdown on speed demon.
One of the best villains. A well rounded character.
Underused, a victim of Brubaker's run on Captain America. Would have been better if he returned as scourge in the recent Thunderbolts run, not Nuke.
Initially a bland character, but was given an edge by Geoff Johns' run on Teen Titans. I would have supported the 'one armed Bandit' concept, but the fuckers at Dc ripped of his other arm!!!!!!!!!!!
Toughest Drokker around. Nuff said!
One of the most interesting Asgardians and always good for a laugh
Donyell Taylor is an interesting Character, though Dwayne's last costume was better
Cool costume and an unused character;the V Battalion could be a major opponent to the Serpent Society recently introduced in Brubaker's secret Avengers. First Citizen V had a crappy death.
Cool character. Hope he's not dead.
Bruce Campbell Rules!!! Just watch Bubba Ho Tep
The most interesting Robin. Damian Wayne just stole Jason's attitude problem. Good as the Red Hood, but needs to settle down on a single costume.
Willing to create entire realities and destroy them for more power. Could potentially be another extant or Monarch.
We all want a game with him as the star. Forget Raiden, this guy was the original katana wielding nutcase.
I like this guy. A stereotype of an upstanding golden age hero, but with an extreme attitude problem.
Should have been higher up the list. Interesting and fun character with many similarities to Judge Dredd in terms of black humour (Garth Ennis withstanding)
Lonnie Machin was a good character. The current Anarky is too much of a Machiavellian stereotype and a foil for Red Robin.
the punisher if he was a teenager and had a supervillain mum. classic.
the man who broke the bat. A great villain, shouldn't have been watered down.
Untapped potential. Wasted by DC.
Remember reading his debut in Man of Steel with MARV wOLFMAN and Jerry Ordway. Very similiar to the vigilante, but interesting for the social messages of youth delinquency.
Adrian Chase was cool. Had an interesting series that's often overlooked; a combo of Daredevil and Punisher.
An obvious choice. In retrospect he should have been closer to the top due to his skills, though the most dangerous aspect of wilson is undoubtedly his ruthlesness.
Yeah, i know his name sounds like a draincleaner, but he's definitely one of the more interesting characters. Check out Keith Giffen's JLI and Death of the new gods to see what i mean.
Mean Bastich and funny to boot. Was great in 52.
Just added in for laughs. An honest parody of Lobo and was great in his appearance in Deadpool, though and actual crossover between deadpool and Lobo needs to be done (if it has apologies).
Had a great attitude problem, i remember the issue 1 of the relaunched JSA where he threw a car effortlessly across a street. Why did DC have to kill him? He was an interesting character.
A murderous kitten!
A cool play on the concept of the riddler, with an awesome face mask
Had an awesome manhunter costume. It would be interesting if he formed his own manhunter corps with Kate spencer and the recently revived Kirk Depaul (i.e. Shwashbuckler).
The ultimate manipulator able to play both hero and villain. Would be cool to see him butt heads with red skull if he ever comes back.
Odd choice, but imagine charles xavier combined with dr strange and dr fate. Nasty.
An evil manipulative £"%$&, but she makes for interesting reading.
A villain that's stuck in my mins. Big, ugly and able to kick Midnighter's ass. Did i mention that he's a eunuch too?
one of the better ideas for MC2. Apart from that, not much else sadly (-)
Picked this guy because i've always liked the slingers, its a dam shame wolvie tore him a new one though..
Interesting. He could have been brought back as an instructor for the initiative.
Consistently good, though he was better off with his own series
why isn't this guy getting any attention?!!!
Original armour looked cool, would have been good in thunderbolts
No Bullshit character. Could make a return as the Knightress some time in the future...or not
Nutcase who killed her parents. We all know she'd be a great date!
I'll always remember his modular armour from the early 90s
He can do anything after a bite. Resurrections ahoy!
Had to get him in here due to the link with Enigma. Loved James woods in Crisis on two earths.
Another nutcase, but an entertaining one at that.
Loved the games and the character. Should have been higher on reflection.
Glad to see he him make a comeback in Guardians of the Galaxy.
My favourite interpretation of the character. Very Phantom rider, but more modern.
Would've been higher up the list, though his no one apart from Kelly and Nicieza can seem to get the balance of the charactter right.
Interesting enemy of ghost rider and spiderwoman. Good to see him making a comeback.
interesting development of the amalgam concept. They should have made more spider boy comics.
Great under Jenkins. Ruined by Bendis. The sentry should have been a man struggling to control his god like powers, not a submissive schizophrenic.
Great combination of Kid Flash and Quicksilver.
cOOL GUY. Owned Sabretooth
Should have been made a member of the Midnight Sons.
Needed more attention
One of Wolverin'e key antagonists. Death won't keep him down for long.
Liked his first appearance alongside omega red. They ruined him by creating the short lived agent zero, though it was interesting to see Bolt as the second Maverick.
Cool play on the Romeo/Juliet theme. The complete opposite of his brother cannonball, it would have been cool to see him and angel involved in the development of the Cheyafarim. Guess we'll never know now.
I liked the first Jason Wynn version, a surprising twist on the spawn dynamic, though only god knows how he managed to fit that Gut in a costume! (no pun intended).
Tough guy. End story.
One of the more rounded spiderman characters. Went from silly to sinister in recent years.
This mutant gets an honorable mention for maintaining the maverick identity. With strong powers and combat training from Cable and the original Maverick, this guy could have gone the mile. A shame he's dead.
Brought a new dimension to the Captain Marvel character. Should have been allowed to remain captain Marvel.
Had the guts to shoot her husband Deathstroke. Mother of Grant Wilson and Jericho, Adeline Kane deserves respect.
Recently attacked Hawkeye and appeared for a panel in civil war with Black Knight (both got their assess handed to them by taskmaster). Be nice to see more of him if he's alive.
Manipulator and dangerous adversary. I wonder what this guy's powers could do to a mutant like hope (i.e. run away!).
Gruff version of George stacy. Would be good to see him reemerge considering the recent appearance of his niece sarah and nephew Gabriel.
Good play on the Deadpool idea. Throw this guy in with Deadpool, spiderman and hawkeye and they could 'quip' any villain to death.
One of those sadistic bastards you like to hate.
Had an entertaining mini-series. Would benefit from a regular comic.
Perfect combination of light humour and action
One of the best Amalgam characters, with a cool link to Gen Ross. 2099 Version higher up list due to better looking costume; Spiderboy should have had a Ben Reilly inspired full face mask and no web gun! All applause goes to ArtisticNeadham for his cool interpretation of Amalgam.
This guy has seen and done everything.
When this guy gets mad, he gets mad! Great addition to the JSA and an entertaining character.
Ever since this guy disappeared in Defenders i've been confused regarding his fate. Would he have been affected by M-Day?
Haven't read much of his stuff, but his civil war tie in was great!
Always dangerous and petty, Kang is a persistent Villain alright.
Lovable pain in the ass.
Interesting combination of wild dog and the origin of steve rogers. Could be the new venom. Though probably not.
Jaime Reyes is good...though we all know Ted Kord is the most interesting Blue Beetle.
A younger Cable and great addition to the Dark Reign event.
The original badass. Escape from New York is a classic.
The original film was great, good social commentary on capitalist society
Good x man. Wasted by messiah complex.
Classic X man villain. Hasn't been used much though.
Perfect fit for deadpool; equally mercenary in nature, though she has a crap taste in men.
Best member of the Guardians. Turned nasty as the magus.
90s throwback, but still cool.
Odd choice i know, but he was good in thunderbolts. powers: Darkforce manipulation
Good in Guardians.
NOT USED ENOUGH! NEEDS A REBOOT!
Original and best Grendel.
Great in Slott's Mighty Avengers run. Needs to make a comeback.
