Other than Grant Morrison, I have never known a comics writer who deserves NO praise whatsoever, yet commands an incredible fanbase like Loeb. He's a terrible writer for Marvel. Only thing he has ever written decently is Batman. McGuinness in his bubbly colorful, cartoony art doesn't help matters. They are a terrible team and I don't get the appeal. I'll probably pass on this, unless they turn it around or it's a character I love.

I agree whole heartily. I have been telling my friend for a while that stories are best when the characters are people the audience can relate, but the setting or circumstances are NOT. It adds that important WOW factor. What would you do? What choices would you made? This is what made Spider-Man so successful. Space also opens up more opportunities. Do you like Samurai? Don't want to write a period piece? Hell with it! Call 'em Jedi and put them in Space. Feels relevant and still has that badass factor.

Oh-ho-ho-ho-my GOD. I was kind of excited that Marvel was dropping an X-Men title to straighten things out. And now they are actually ADDING one?

X-Men in general is my favorite comic franchise, yet I don't see why everyone is so upset. We still have X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, and X-Men Legacy to read. Do we really NEED four titles about Emma, Magneto, Wolverine and Cyclops like we pretty much have right now anyway? Hopefully this will help narrow their scope and write more focused stories.

I don't know why, but I think Scott is the best. I am really basing this on gut instinct. When he's in charge, as a reader, I feel more comfortable with everything. I believe he'll make the right choices, and even if he makes mistakes, they'll be made for the right reasons.

Am I the only one who feels Wolvie's torso is far too wide in the last frame? It looks really bad. I hope it's note a taste of things to come for the rest of the event. But I'll read it regardless.

Please, more top lists. I know they're cliche, but I thrive on them!

Eh, I don't like the lion chillin' on his shoulder. It looks... I dunno... clunky? I'm all for the full body outfit though. I think it looks pretty fitting for his new downed-to-earth direction.

I think I'd really like to see a well written (Duh) solo book for him. Not ongoing mind you, either a mini series or a graphic novel. He's definitely one of the more deep and interesting villains of Batman. And he certainly does have a sympathetic side to him. I'd just love to see a moody, dark, spotlight on ol' Vic. Maybe even an updated origin story? One that could really shed light on his heart break and desperation to save his wife. His breakdown after his failure. Creating the costume? Gimme a (n)ice psychological story!
