How lame is the ending of this?

Batman R.I.P. ended up being just a dream. That's the weakest thing you can do just say oh, no, that didn't just happen. you were on the edge of your seat but hey it's not really getting resolved in a way that satisfies you. To me it was just a huge middle finger in the face.

@TheRedRobin: It happens really quick but in 682-683 it establishes that RIP occurs first then Final Crisis happens last year Morrison did 701- 702 which makes the scenes longer and shows him head right into Final Crisis after RIP.

...it ended up just being a dream? I thought that Morrison's take on Batman didn't end with RIP and went on until Batman Inc which is occurring now. Bruce 'dying' being similar to the part where Hamlet first talks to the ghost, and now he's back from England and ready to do what must be done.
