It feels like Bendis has been spread to thin across all these books. I admit I am not a long time GotG fan and have enjoyed this, but as of recent things seem rushed. All the recent events haven't helped, but it was so cool seeing the symbiot homeworld but it just felt like "Oh here it is bye now..." I wonder if this coming Secret Wars has a factor in some recent books feeling rushed so they can tie up story lines before May.
I'm thinking that Wade is going to let the Deadpool persona die. It allows for Wade to be with his daughter and not have to worry about her safety as much since those hunting her will be dead. I have a great feeling that the writing team will knock it out of the park, but I will still be sad one of my favorite monthly books is ending.
I really hope this is short term, I hate relauches but this writing team has been amazing. I really don't want to think this is just over the movies, because I though this book was selling rather well.
I wish they were spread out a bit more. Maybe two or three a year top and it gives time to make the events feel like they have some impact. Some of the tie-in books do feel rushed at times, but some are superior to the event. As they said though if you don't like them don't buy them. I have seen on comic vine some people who crap on the events, but they bought them to complain. Thus some of the haters are part of the problem.
Would've liked Hardy as Deadshot tbh but Will Smith's presence almost guarantees that the movie gets solid box office returns (which is what WB wants, right?).
The finale was brutal you really got to see the Turtles struggle. For a split second I thought they were maybe going to do evil Leo like the IDW comics. Just the way that Shredder was eying Leo.
