Reboot of the Reboot, WW VS DC

I've been cruising the forums and one of the threads really popped out at me. It was questioning if Diana was treated poorly by DC and how they could fix it, etc. As I was reading through some of the older posts a few things were mentioned that I really liked. People started talking about bringing more classical mythology in the comic, making it more epic and legendary. I think this would be a great idea. What could be done is separating the "divine" world from the "real" world and make most of Diana's fights take place in a place that may not effect ordinary people or the JLA but different "mystical" people (ex. The Amazon). She could fight classic villains and maybe even have to preform the Labors of Herc too. Something to bring the classic Greek and Roman mythology into the comic and go back to her roots. She would still be in the JLA but they wouldn't really know about most of her problems because they take place in a world outside their scope (because none of them are the "magic" using heroes . For me personally the New 52 plot line is O.K. but there is room for so much more. A personal problem for me is how the gods are drawn, an example of this is Poseidon. Show me where is classic mythology that he is a giant sea monster. Or Hades, when is he a BOY with a candlestick head. I understand that DC is trying to put their own new and modern spin on the ancient gods but it is kind of ridiculous. I can not take a candle head youth seriously as the god of the underworld (for the record Hades is not the god of death but the god of the dead. These are two completely separate things which are often confused and used to portray Hades in a funfair fight). I just really wish they could make the gods look more like normal people. Not like everybody else but maybe without tentacles.

Wonder Woman VS "Relationship"

Over the years numerous writers have felt the need to pair Diana up with a "male companion," There have been few but the stand outs are Steve Trevor, Superman, and Batman (from Justice League Unlimited). Noe setting my personal bias aside (Batman), just kidding, I can't do that! Diana met Steve during WWII, he should be DEAD, not the "Justice League liaison" in the New 52. Also what the fuck is this relationship with Clark? I don't read Superman but isn't he suppose to be with Lois? Isn't he married to Lois? Or did they change that in the bloody New 52!? I won't even get into how wrong Superman and Diana are (beside the fact that you cannot have a couple that could level the continental Untied States in a lover's spat!). Truthfully you really don't need Diana in a relationship! But if you need to there are plenty of other men that aren't completely power overrated. I'm not saying he is the only one but Batman is a great idea. If you watched Unlimited like me, then you saw how super cute the two were even though nothing ever happened. I think it is a great pairing, they really balance each other out (both sides of the spectrum.) But if you don't like BMWW please don't support the stupid Superman/Wonder Woman "dream couple." It makes me gag.
