This is probably good news. Marvel seems to know what they want and there is no denying their incredible track with their movies. If they decided he wasn't going to cut it, this is most likely for the best.
tough one. I think it would eventually come down to the fact that Wolverine (movie) seems to feel pain a lot more than Slade has been shown to feel pain on Arrow.
In other words a sword through movie logan wouldn't kill (obviously) but it would stun him long enough for Slade to deal major damage(maybe head removal). While logan's claws probably wouldn't even phase Slade much. Unless logan manages to hack off a limb of course!
Still, imo, this could go either way. I say Slade 6/10
His knee is still busted! Plus he fought better than Bruce in all of the Nolan batman films combined. lol The acting was great all around in this episode, and the brother blood reveal to Ollie felt so natural. He went from depressed to motivated so well.
I think Batman wanted to give Clark a really good lesson in humility so that after he 'really' dies Superman will be less likely to go off the rails. That's how i've always looked at it.
I'd like to see him team up with Ms. Marvel. :p The idea of Thor being impressed by an earthlings (humanoid) strength would be cool to see. Sort of like a big brother little (but powerful) sister scenario.
