How do you write five supermen at once? I'm still hanging in there for AVX to finish with a story that carries some sort of meaningful weight. It's been full of epic moments, but that's really the only thing going for it for me. let's have Beast kill cyclops at the end with some type of ray gun. That would carry weight. :)

Someone of grand scale should die. Someone that makes both sides pause, and then hug at the end. IMO

Is supe faster than Thor? I thought Thor could literally teleport, and move at speeds beyond light Speed(at one time)

EDIT: Yes supe is faster than Thor, and stronger, but does he have the battle tactics, and intelligence of Thor?

What i'm trying to say is, is Superman too stupid to defeat Thor?

I thought the Trilogy were amazing films full of amazing actors, and actresses. The set pieces, lighting, and pacing were near flawless film making. However as "batman movies" i will always think they fell a bit short. There's quite a few reasons for this, but just to name a few i have to bring up that in the nolanverse Bruce was only batman for a very short time. Then he still walks away at the end to what i assume is to let Robin train alone until he comes back. That just doesn't seem right. Batman is sipping fine wine while the first Robin fights Gotham alone? If the eight year vacation was any indication it could be quite awhile before Bruce gets bored of Catwoman, and decides to "return" again.

I thought the gadgets, and preparation were lacking in the nolanverse. I never got the vibe that Bruce/Batman was just as much as a cerebral planning genius as he was a physical force. Which brings me to another point. Some will say that the Bane fight was so weak, because Bruce didn't want to kill Bane(obviously) he just wanted to take him down. Which wasn't going to happen. Even with that being a possibility Batman still seemed like a complete amateur in both his fights with Bane. In the end to me the nolanverse made Batman seem as though he was all Fear, and inspiration. Rather than Fear, inspiration, cerebral planning, and unmatched fighting skill. Basically imo the Trilogy could have nailed home a more cerebral Batman with much, much better fight scenes.

The only thing i really like about Supe is his unwavering goodness. I'm only 22 though. So i don't have some innate love for him. I think his villains are ok in that they find ways to give him a challenge, but i don't find them interesting at all. Why is Lex the way he is? Lex is obviously uncontrollably narcissistic, but what is the background on his past? Every DC villain can't be the Joker. Most villains have to actually be interesting for people to like them. The better the villain the better the hero. Which brings me to my second point. Supe can't get much better than he already is.

I've personally always felt that supe being a member of the JLA detracted from all of the other members, and himself. It always seemed to me that Supe is just around to protect the other JLA members, and to punch stuff that they can't. He should be a deeper character than that. It's hard to create both a character with incredible power to punch stuff, and a character that has deep characterization. It's the same reason i don't like Red Hulk. I love Supe for what he is, but what he is is a lost alien puppy dog that runs around wagging his tail to fit in with everyone. LET'S SEE HIM GET MAD, AND BREAK A PLANET IN HALF!

i ranted.

While i really want him to turn out good. I can't see it happening. The sole purpose for his existence in the universe is to be the mutant savior. Maybe they use Genesis to humanize him more, because in the end that makes the best villain. Scott is acting a lot like Apocalypse right now.
