The DC Revamp Kills the Teen Titans

Alright, I know what you're thinking. "DC is killing off the Teen Titans? Deathstroke's dreams have finally come true?" No nothing to that extent. But the thing is, the DC Revamp has really screwed with the Teen Titans' history.

I've always been a big fan of the Teen Titans and their history. I know just about every Titan on a first name basis and I feel as though I've always been a Titan myself. But everything is way different now.

First off, we have Dick Grayson back to being Nightwing. I always loved Nightwing but look at him. He's not the same Nightwing we knew from before.

Then we have Garth, if you didn't notice, is nowhere to be found. Rumors are, he doesn't exist anymore. Before the revamp, he died during Blackest Night and has been replaced by the new Aqualad. In the DCnU, he doesn't seem to have ever existed.

As for Wally West, I'm not sure if he exists or not. Barry Allen is the Flash and Bart Allen is Kid Flash. Nobody really knows if Wally West really exists at all in the DCnU. There is also a chance that the current Kid Flash is actually Wally, not Bart.

DC has admitted that Donna Troy does not exist in the DCnU at all. She was not the original Wonder Girl. She was not a founder of the Teen Titans. She did not date Kyle Rayner or Roy Harper. She did not die and return from the dead. She did not participate in Blackest Night. She doesn't exist.

Roy Harper is really off the wall right now. In the DCnU, he is a member of the Outlaws with Jason Todd and Starfire. First of all, we have no idea if he's known as Arsenal, Red Arrow, Speedy, or whatever. We don't know if he and Cheshire had a daughter named Lian. We don't know if he was ever even in the Titans. We don't know how his relationship with Green Arrow is. He hasn't even lost his arm in the DCnU and has some weird tattoo on it.

Cyborg is now a member of the Justice League. Rumors are going around that in the DCnU, he's a founder of the League and was part of the original 7, not Martian Manhunter.

Starfire is member of the Outlaws. She seems the same besides her costume getting smaller and smaller the more we see her. But it seems farfetched that her history is still intact.

Beast Boy and Raven don't seem to be anywhere to be found. I was hoping at least those two would be on the new team.

Jericho and Ravager seem to be whispers in the wind when it comes to whether or not they exist. Everything that happened between the stories of the big 9, and the team Geoff Johns created seems to be questionable.

Tim Drake is said to be " forced to step out from behind his keyboard when an international organization seeks to capture or kill super-powered teenagers." He is also called "Red Robin, Batman's former sidekick." He looks so much younger than he was before the revamp.

As for Superboy, nobody really knows how that works...

Cassie Sandsmark is listed as a " belligerent powerhouse thief known as Wonder Girl." Kinda makes sense towards the idea of her stealing those artifacts in her origin story, it's still weird. Her connection to Wonder Woman is questionable.

Bart Allen (or Wally West) is listed as " a hyperactive speedster calling himself Kid Flash." Nobody knows how that works. He looks nothing similar to Barry Allen's costume.

I just don't like that the Teen Titans got the crap end of the deal. What do you guys think?

UPDATE:
I think I figured out the new origin story based on the solicitations of the first 2 issues.

Teen Titans #1:

Tim Drake, Batman's former sidekick, is back in action when an international organization seeks to capture, kill, or co-opt super-powered teenagers. As Red Robin, he's going to have to team up with the mysterious and belligerent powerhouse thief known as Wonder Girl and the hyperactive speedster calling himself Kid Flash to stand any chance at all against a living, breathing weapon with roots in another world! They, along with a few other tortured teen heroes, will be the Teen Titans!

Teen Titans #2:

A strange creature haunts the streets of Los Angeles... And because of this creature's age, both Red Robin and N.O.W.H.E.R.E. are racing to find her, but neither side is prepared for the horror known as Bugg! Meanwhile, Superboy is on a collision course with the team, and Kid Flash plots his escape from N.O.W.H.E.R.E. with the most unexpected of allies!

Basically, I figured that it will be something like the episode of Teen Titans during Season 5 called "Go!". Red Robin discovers this girl named Bugg in Los Angeles and this organization called N.O.W.H.E.R.E. has been capturing super-powered teens. They have Kid Flash and they want Bugg. Red Robin and Wonder Girl end up teaming up to rescue Bugg. And Superboy, in some connection to his programming, goes straight for the Teen Titans. It's quite odd but plausible. There is room for more info to change how it works.
