If the rumoured World War Hulk movie is legit, I could see him filling the role Sentry had in the event. To avoid the controversy of having it be Captain Marvel or the repetition of it being Thor.
He might have trouble tagging them h2h, but they don’t have enough damage output to do more than annoy him, whereas he can one shot each of them & his AoE will ez clap.
I thought it was great, it’s vastly different than Ewing’s run (while still maintaining the gore & dark subject matter) but I think that’s a good thing. It feels like a blend of a lot of Hulk’s runs from the last 20 years (bit of Pak, Loeb, Aaron, Waid & Ewing) & I’m super interested to see where this is all going.
The problem is, especially high tiers in the MCU & Particularly DCEU’s WW, inconsistency. These characters are portrayed at such inconsistent levels of power that it’s hard to really pinpoint what they would actually be. Sure, in theory, Thanos - Hela - Kurse - Hulk - Thor - CM - Ikaris are all more or less planet level characters to varying degrees, but through consistency they’re far from that.
I’d say Superman & Thanos are arguably the closest to being consistent, but even Clark has his small moments like Thanos. But example WW is so inconsistent I can’t even think of where I’d put her & Shazam has done absolutely nothing noteworthy. Aquaman Underwater is vastly more impressive than both.
Anyway, we can’t really put them at any exact level like planetary outside of maybe intent because they’re too inconsistent.
