Aspen Matthews was out enjoying a fine day of surfing. She out beyond the breakers waiting for a good wave and encountered a friendly squid and she picked it up. Suddenly she felt tentacles grabbing and groping her. She had to act immediately! She turned herself into water before it was too late and managed to hitch a ride with a piece of seaweed. She observed several aggressive squid searching for her. Aspen was glad to be heading towards shore and the foolish squid didn't realize what was going on. When the seaweed washed up on the beach she resumed her solid form. She was very fond of her surf board and waited for it return to shore. The squid were still looking for her.

The Joker just escaped from Arkham Asylum intent on getting Harley Quinn back. Harley was under the protection of Batgirl and Batwoman at an undisclosed location. Poison Ivy was at her place. In case The Joker came to Ivy's place, she was to push an emergency button to summon Batman.

The night started out quiet. Ivy stepped out to check on her greenhouse when Joker hit her on the back of her head. Joker placed the unconscious Ivy on a workbench in the greenhouse and tied her up securely. She came to with a splitting headache and saw Joker's hideous grinning face. She realized it was too late to call Batman. She asked Joker what he was going to do with her. He said "First, I want to know where Harley is?" Ivy said she didn't know where Harley was.

He produced a burlap sack and unloaded part of it's contents on Ivy's body. It seemed like thousands of slugs and earthworms were slithering on her. It was sensory overload. She cried out "Oh, oh, oh!" She struggled furiously to get free without success. Then she breathed deeply to calm down and tried some more unsuccessfully. Joker asked her again where Harley was. Ivy was glad that she didn't know where Harley was hiding and said so.

Joker said "Even if you don't know where Harley is, you need to be punished." He placed more slugs and earthworms or poor Ivy's chest. She begged him to stop. She repeatedly denied knowing where Harley is and begged Joker to let her go. After about a half hour she started getting used to the sensations and calmed down a little.

She said "You know, Joker, if you had been nice to Harley she would still be with you." Joker said "Ivy, it is your fault that she left me. Until you came along everything was fine." She replied "You drove her away from you!" Joker said "The next step is to feed you to the locusts and see if they eat you unless you tell me where Harley is!"

He put the rest of the slugs and worms on poor Ivy's bosom and introduced a locust. She cried out because the locust bit her. It hurt a lot and bled a little! The locust realized that Ivy didn't taste good and went away. She pleaded "I don't know where she is, please stop this!" Batman and Robin arrived at this time but Joker escaped. They untied Ivy.

They helped her get off the table. She had been on the table for about an hour. She thanked the dynamic duo and gave Batman a hug and a kiss. Ivy told them that Joker had locusts. Batman said they would be careful. Batman told Ivy that he felt like Ivy might be in trouble so he and Robin came over. She told them what happened. Ivy went into her house to take a shower and tend her wound. Superman and Supergirl arrived at the scene carrying Joker. They were doing aerial reconnaissance as requested. Batman thanked the supers and said that he and Robin would take Joker in. He also asked Supergirl to stay with Ivy. Ivy gave everyone a hug of thanks.

Superman, Batman and Robin left with Joker. Supergirl helped Ivy to clean everything up. Supergirl thought "I don't even want to know what was going on here!" Ivy was too upset for sleep and wept for about an hour. While waiting for the sun to come up she and Supergirl sat on the sofa and talked about life, love, and regrets. Ivy asked Supergirl if it was possible for her (Ivy) to love Batman. Supergirl replied than anything was possible and that Ivy should follow her heart. After delivering Joker to the police, Batman wondered if he could love Ivy.

Back in the Fifth dimension Mr. Mxyzptlk was being taunted by his colleagues for being so easily duped on Earth. He warned them that Earthlings are pretty tough. He dared them to try for themselves. So Ms. Gsptlsnz, Mr. Gazook, and Mr. Klyzyzk took the challenge and went to Earth.[new paragraph] Ms. Gsptlsnz tracked down Wonder Woman. Poor Wonder Woman suddenly found herself bound in chains. Ms. Gsptlsnz said "Let's see if you can escape." WW said "Who are you and what's going on?" Ms. Gsptlsnz introduced herself and explained that she was there to test Earthlings. WW struggled against her chains frantically, but to no avail. She pulled and pulled but it didn't work. She wept quietly. She realized that she needed extra help.[new paragraph] WW prayed to the Greek Goddess Hera for strength to break the chains. Ms. Gsptlsnz mocked her for resorting to prayer. WW said "I'm crying now, but you will cry soon!" Then she used all her strength and broke her chains. She got up with a bound and faced Ms. Gsptlsnz, who was very surprised. WW felt a surge of power building up inside her. She ordered Ms. Gsptlsnz to go back to the Fifth dimension. Ms. Gsptlsnz laughed at her. WW hit her with a "mild" bolt of lightning. Ms. Gsptlsnz's clothes were smouldering and she was shaken badly. Through her tears she said "you won this time!" and quickly said her name backwards and returned home.[new paragraph] Mr. Gazook found Power Girl as she was relaxing in her apartment. She was talking to her cat Stinky. Mr. Gazook was stunned by her beauty and was speechless for a bit. His jaw dropped about two or three inches. PG said "You better look me in the eyes from time-to-time. You act like one of those bozos from the Fifth dimension. Is that where you are from?" Gazook managed to say "Yep."[new paragraph] PG purred "I would love to hear your name." She cooed "if you tell me your name, teddy bear, I'll give you a big hug." If Mr. Gazook wasn't furry, he would have been blushing. He shyly edged his way over close to PG. She took him in her arms and gave him a tight hug and a kiss. Unbeknownst to Gazook she turned on her secret sound recorder. She asked him what his name was. When he said "My name is Mr. Gazook" she had a recording of it..[new paragraph] Gazook fainted when PG gave him a second kiss. He lay unconscious on the floor. PG set the recorder to play backwards. She said "I kinda like you, you did look me in the eyes a few times. I'm sorry to have to do this, but here it goes." She played the recording backwards and Gazook was history.[new paragraph] Mr. Klyzyzk tracked down Zatanna the magician. She too was home rehearsing her routine when he burst into her presence. He wrapped her up up like a mummy leaving her head exposed. He laid her in an open coffin. From that position Zee couldn't see much but had deduced that she was now a mummy and she was in a box. She asked him "What are you going to do to me?" He said "I'm testing you to see how strong you are." She replied "I'll try not to disappoint."[new paragraph] Zatanna said "em eitnu." It didn't work. She struggled against the wrappings without success. She realized that she needed to get Klyzyzk to say his name backwards. She told Mr. Klyzyzk that when people from his dimension come to earth they start to feel an urge to say their names backwards. She could see him get a worried look. All this time Zee was using her telepathy to prompt Mr. Klyzyzk to say his name backwards.[new paragraph] She said "I'm feeling tired. I'll close my eyes and rest for a while." He wanted to see her struggle but she insisted she needed rest. She used this opportunity to focus her telepathic powers to get him to say his name backwards. After a while he cried out "I can't take it anymore, Kzyzylk Rm." He disappeared and Zee was free.[new paragraph] These Fifth dimensional imps all arrived home at the same time. Mr. Mxyzptlk mocked at them saying "You guys didn't last there any longer than I!" He teased them for a week and made them very miserable.

Apologies for formatting problems. Yomiko Readman was vacationing at the beach and waded in to the surf. Suddenly an octopus latched on to her and began to tickle her. The Fantastic Four were at the beach and came to her rescue. The Human Torch scared the octopus away. Yomiko blushed, said she was fine and thanked Johnny for rescuing her without hurting the octopus. She introduced herself to the FF and Mr. Fantastic said “Yomiko, aren’t you famous for being able to do incredible things with paper?” She blushed a little and said “They call me The Paper.” Mr. F said “It is a great honor to meet you!” Johnny said “Aren’t you the one who can make an airplane out of paper and fly in it?” She said “Maybe I will be able to show you.” Suddenly Prince Namor waded out of the ocean with a stormy look on his countenance and confronted Mr. F. Namor said “I demand that all humans leave the oceans. They can’t use boats or even fly aircraft over the ocean! I, Prince Namor, will give you two weeks. If you do as I order you we can meet here in two weeks on the dot!” Mr. F asked why he was so angry? He said “I will tell you more in two weeks!” Ben Grimm , The Thing, said after Namor left “Gee, I'm a sensitive guy, he hurt my feelings, I'm gonna cry!” Yomiko said that her organization has been monitoring Namor closely for the last several years and that his behavior had become more unstable in the last three months. She said they were not completely sure but thought that Skrulls had replaced Namor, and were preparing to invade Earth again. Yomiko added that several years ago some agents from her organization had planted a tracking device on Namor so they can follow him. If he is held prisoner by the skrulls they should be able to find him. The Fantastic Four went to the White House and the UN to get all humans out of the oceans. It took thirteen days to complete the process. During those 14 days all superheroes from around the world were put on the alert for a possible skrull invasion. At the appointed hour the FF plus Yomiko Readman reported to the beach. Namor and some of his people emerged from the water. He said "I see you have obeyed my orders." Mr. Fantastic asked Namor what he wanted. The prince said he wanted to take over the world. Mr. F said "we can't let you do that and you know it!" The prince snarled "Let the war begin!" Suddenly the Avengers and the X-Men emerged from hiding and along with The FF they quickly overwhelmed Namor and his party. Just as suddenly Namor said "We can't let you capture us." And they killed themselves. Everybody was stunned, Prince Namor would never do that! Slowly the corpses returned to their skrull form. Yomiko broke the silence and said that a team of her operatives rescued the real Prince Namor from imprisonment on a small island on the British Columbian coast. They also captured some skrulls. Now they shifted to search mode to see if they could find anymore skrulls. Prince Namor and his people assisted searching under water for skrulls. No more were found. Johnny asked Yomiko if she were planning to go back to the beach. She said the octopi were too amorous for her.

Bridget the librarian was on vacation at the beach. As she began to wade in the surf, a large squid reached out with one tentacle to hold her. Another tentacle was used to tickle her. She cried for help and fortunately for her the Fantastic Four were at the beach and ran to the rescue. When the squid saw The Human Torch it let Bridget go and retreated in to the sea. The Invisible Girl helped her back to the beach and tried to comfort her. Prince Namor strode out of the water and addressed Mr. Fantastic. "I demand that all humans leave the ocean. You have two weeks to do it!" Mr. Fantastic responded "Why are you so angry this time Prince?" Namor said "If you meet my demands I will meet you here in two weeks. Otherwise my subjects will drive humans from the oceans. I can sink all ships and boats and you have already met one of my squid who can drive humans from the water." After making sure Bridget was okay, the FF headed to Washington, DC and New York City to persuade the U.S. and the U.N. to get everything and everyone out of the water. Gentle Ben Grimm asked Mr. Fantastic if he was surrendering. Mr. Fantastic said that he was getting to work on a way to prevent Prince Namor from carrying out his scheme. -- To be continued.

Supergirl was just about to leave the phone booth when there was a blinding flash. She noticed that she had become very busty suddenly. She heard maniacal laughter and noticed Mr. Mxyzptlk sitting on the ground. When she said "what are you up to Mr. Mxyzptlk?" She noticed that her voice had become soft and seductive. Mr. Mxyzptlk said that he was bored with tormenting Superman, and that he was going to make her life miserable. She thought to herself that she was going to have to trick him into saying his name backwards to send him back to the fifth dimension and undo the changes he made to her. She realized that she needed to wait a while in order to catch him off guard. She started crying and Mr. Mxyzptlk began to feel sorry for her. Between sobs she said she wanted to go home for the night. He said to go ahead and he would follow her. Her cat Streaky greeted her in a friendly way, which made her feel better. Once home Supergirl asked him what he was going to do to her. He said "I'm starting to like you, for the next week or two I'll just follow you around without interfering with your superhero duties." She said she would have to get used to her new body. Mr. Mxyzptlk said that she could get some tips from Power Girl.. They laughed. Supergirl suggested that Mr. Mxyzptlk could play jokes on her to until it was time for her to go to bed. She endured hours of whoopee cushions, knock knock and boob jokes and other indignities with good humor and patience. Mr. Mxyzptlk told her that he was impressed that she had taken it all so well. She said that she always tries to be a good sport and that she has always respected him. She said that Superman was too hard on him. He liked hearing this kind of talk. Supergirl said that she had heard that he couldn't say Kltpzyxm .rm. He responded "Young lady, I can say anything including Kltpzyxm .rm!" Just before he disappeared he cried "Supergirl, you haven't seen the last of me". He disappeared and Supergirl's figure and voice went back to normal. She missed her big boobs. She spoke to Streaky and said "Streaks, Mr. Mxyzptlk will be back in 90 days, we better prepare for it." And Streaky said "Meow!"

One day Charles Xavier got a call from the Morlock leader Masque. Masque said they needed to meet to discuss a serious matter. Charles decided to bring Colossus, Forge and Domino to accompany him into the room to meet Masque. They were to be armed with high powered tranquilizer darts since he wanted to avoid killing anyone. Masque began his opening remarks by noting that he admired Xavier’s ethics and courage in fighting his enemies. He also asserted that the X-Men and X-Factor were losing the war. He offered to allow them to join the Morlocks in their underground fortress. He said that his fortress was much more secure than anything Xavier had. Charles’ face turned red as he heard this spiel. He said that there was no way he would allow anyone to come under Masque’s control. He said that he knew that Masque was enslaving the Morlocks by making them deformed and he wasn’t going to allow that to happen to anyone else. Now it was Masque’s turn to get red in the face. And he said “How dare you say that about me, Charles. I love the Morlocks and they love me!” Masque signaled his Morlocks to attack the X-Men. They shot bullets and one bounced off of Colossus and another grazed Domino’s right arm. She could still use her right hand to shoot with some difficulty. Forge, Colossus and Domino pulled out their dart pistols and shot the Morlocks. A Morlock suddenly appeared and grabbed Domino’s injured arm before she could respond. He twisted her arm so the gun pointed at her and he pulled the trigger striking her in the chest. She passed out almost immediately. As this melee began Xavier used his psychic powers to shove Masque against the wall. He told Masque that the Morlocks were knocked out using tranquilizer darts and that it would last about 24 hours. Masque growled that he hated Charles Xavier now more than ever. Charles responded that he would now give Masque a small taste of his power. He used his psychic powers to choke Masque. Before he passed out, Xavier told him that if they ever met again it would go much harder on him. When Masque fainted, Charles released his hold on him and he collapsed to the floor. He shot Masque with a dart ending that skirmish. Colossus picked up Domino’s limp form and the rest of the group started to leave.

Cyclops--Because he tries to do the right thing most of the time. He is really sold on Charles Xavier's mission. Storm--Because she has a strong personality and intellect.
