@lilbroomstick: Actually, I commend you for saying at least a little more than "name wins". Yesterday when I posted, I didn't realize this thread was so old. To answer your question I was either summoned by A) nostalgia or B) Sensing the good name of Booster Gold was being besmirched.
So... what's up? I wasn't expecting any engagement and now I'm weirdly excited about it. Anything new or exciting about the site?
After all these years, people still reply with boring "name wins" answers. What is even the point of responding with that? It's not like this is a poll
Booster Gold definitely wins. His kit is much more varied and, being from the future, his tech is more advanced. He has a force field belt from Brainiac 5 which makes him nigh-invulnerable. Plus he rolls with Skeets, who is a total G. Booster Gold is the man and War Machine just isn't on his level. WM would probably dislocate his entire body crashing into a helicopter.
Gee, a piece of wood in generic brand power armor or the guy that the angel of death outsources all his work to.
Doom Guy is kicking open the gates of hell and laying siege to legions of nightmares personified while Master Chief grumbles at a hologram and fafs about with his floaty jumps. Plus consider the fact that one of these blokes can only carry two guns at a time and needs to take a break to suck his thumb behind a wall every ten seconds.
Doom Guy flosses his teeth with this current gen dip
Decided not to exercise and took the day off. I've been rippin' mad squats and curls the past three days so I figure I earned it.
Went to see "Logan", starring Hugh Jackman aka my fitspiration. What I wouldn't give to have forearms like the man on my desktop screensaver. After the movie, I went for icecream, probably not the best choice. Still, I figure it might fit into my "macros" whatever those are. Tomorrow I promise to be good.
I am comicvine user "theDCkid", or Darryl McMexican if you prefer.
I've been with the site for about 19 years now, give or take (mostly take) and am making this thread to document my weightlifting journey and possibly open a discussion with other CV users in regards to fitness, bodybuilding, and experimental drug trials.
I'm hoping to keep the mood in here cool and casual, like a seedy jazz club while also maintaining a level of sophistication and wit like your mothers book club
