Yeah because that was my first thought. Look how sexy this is. The fact you see a body with nipples, and throw a fit in psychological terms is a lack of sexual maturation.

I'd hardly call it "throwing a fit". It was a pretty casual, single sentence question about something that I'll admit I noticed myself. We all know that it's done to appeal to male consumers, but I don't think it's a bad thing for society in general to every now and then question if it's really necessary.

Yeah, see I know that they tried to make sense of it with Moonstars powers, but I think a big reason contemporary writers have ignored that bond was that it sort of propagates the racial stereotype that Native Americans are somehow closer to nature (ie, being able to talk to animals) than everyone else. It plays into the whole "Nobel Savage" stereotype that I think most people would (understandably) like to avoid.

I mean, I just love both of those characters, so I thought it was pretty cool too, but hardly worth being culturally insensitive about.

I suppose you could view it that way, but considering it was specifically stated that her bond with animals was a mutant ability and other native american heroes ala Thunderbird and Warpath haven't been given similar powers; I don't think it's culturally insensitive at all unless you choose to view it that way.

I'd argue that hero names like Warpath and Black Lightening are more insensitive than an ability to talk to animals. Heck, at least Dani's hero-name was "Vision Quest" or something like that.

Fett couldn't take out anyone above a street-level hero like Punisher. He might score a hit or two against Spiderman, but Pete would eventually win. His spider-sense is crazy useful and he's massively faster and more agile than Fett.

Doom and Iron Man would wipe the floor with him. Heck, Doom would probably just hack Fett's armor and make all his weapons explode.

Fett MIGHT have a chance against Cap if he had time to set up traps and ambushes. But I think Steve wins a straight up fight.

Fett really doesn't have anything the Marvel heroes haven't seen, fought, and defeated before.

Of course, these fights would never happen in the first place since Stark would just top whatever price Fett was getting to take on the heroes.

Cause black guys are inherently cooler so girls are more willing to get involved with them quicker.

White guys aren't cool, so if a black woman marries one you can count on it not being purely for physical attraction.

Worst post of the month?

I think so...

Finally, I'm top dog at SOMETHING!! :D

Man, I'm not sure what's more entertaining; the Superior story-arc or the prolonged reaction to it.

I don't think OMD got this much drawn out hatred, and that whole arc was nothing but Peter being a moron and making a deal with the freaking devil.

I'm excited to see how Pete will return, but I'll almost be sorry to see it end. The RAGE is just so frickin' great.

How about getting Rahne and Dani back together.

Not necessarily as a romantic couple (though Claremont dropped some non-to-subtle hints in that direction) but just as friends on the same team. I loved their dynamic in the classic New Mutants series and have been wanting them to get back together for awhile now.

My second would be Wolverine and Mystique.

No, I don't really want Mystique to join the X-Men (though I wouldn't say no to having her on an X-force style team). But I'd really love her to take on a sort of flirty-rivalry with Logan. Pretty much Catwoman to his Batman, with plenty sexual tension, naughty innuendo, and some genuine feelings hidden underneath it all.

I've always liked Mystique best when she's bad, but not really full-on evil.

Pink/Violet - Cause I'm all about the love, baby.

Plus, all my co-workers would be hot chicks in skimpy clothing.

Who do you guys think the villains will be?

I'm hoping for some awesome Taskmaster action.

Why is it seen as such an insult that Superman would beat Batman and his villains?

I love Batman. One of my favorite characters. But I'd put his chances at beating Superman as slim to microscopic. And I don't see any shame in that. He's freaking SUPERMAN. Batman is a powerless human whose actually made himself relevant in a world of demi-gods. Isn't that enough?

Heck, many of my favorite characters would have trouble taking on Batroc the Leaper. But that's why I love 'em. They're not the strongest or the smartest, but they keep on trying.

I like Batman BECAUSE I think Superman could wipe the floor with him. Because that makes the fact that Superman still respects and listens to him that much more impressive.
