I'm hoping the new movies will be based on the Yuuzhan Vong War, one part because I'm sick of the Sith returning every two years, the other part being that the Yuuzhan Vong would look amazing in full cinematic glory.
@TheCommissar: Well they did announce plans to make this really soon after the Avengers came out, so I'm pretty sure that everyone knows DC is trying to cash in with this one. Maybe it will be good, maybe it won't, only time will tell, but I don't think anyone is deluding themselves into thinking that DC isn't just trying to hit the market while it's hot.
Yeah, although I don't think the general public pays attention to news like that until it actually becomes something. Besides, Justice League being an obvious cash-in is not necessarily a bad thing, since it may mean DC will really try at making a good movie quality, and hopefully we won't end up with another Green Lantern.
Bad idea releasing it so close to Avengers 2. If the Justice League movie fails to at least meet the standards of it, DC will probably be in a decent amount of trouble. Especially since I'm sure a lot of people will see it as an attempt to cash in on the popularity of superhero team movies (which it is).
