@JohnnyWalker: THE TOWN and GONE BABY GONE are both stellar films mostly due to Affleck's direction, and ARGO looks like it will be solid as well...

This may not be such a bad idea.

Yes, ARGO looks like a solid film as well.

Seriously, ARGO looks great=]

Too much detail.

Seriously, This is going to trump Spiderman's webs on his costume for 'most annoying/tedious thing to draw' by pros...

I'm surprised you didn't note how many 'trial of' comics there have been over the years...off the top of my head there's at least one (modern) Superman, a Barry Allen one, a Peter Parker one, and I believe a separate Spiderman one...I'm sure there are dooooooooooooooozens more. They're kind of cliche at this point. Not that I think that's necessarily a bad story concept=]

I think it probably could've beat the Avengers if not for the shooting

yeah me too.

Me three. They say there's no such thing as bad publicity..but, with all the networks pulling the ads and all the negative air going around with 'TDKR' tacked to it...it reeally was bad publicity. Plus there's a lot of ignorant people out there that really did let that isolated/almost non existent chance of it happening again stop them from going.

I'd do that shit Hourman from the JSA does. It's like the 5 Hour Energy of drugs=P

I love this video of you guys. Because we're all doing this right now! Geeking/gushing about this big beautiful movie and all it contained=]

Also, I just gotta say...I legitimately thought that Batman died at the end before the epilogue. Nolan totally had me blinded by how freaking invested I was at that point=P

I am so surprised by this. They're actually making a new character. That..IS SO GREAT!!!! It seems like both the big two have been playing it safe and not trying to create new characters from scratch.

I'm a major Marvel hater, but I will be getting this.

Perhaps it raises money too...

Honestly, if it did raise money, that would be my biggest quarrel with this. Since more often than not when you buy a product that is tied to some great cause, it is only a 'portion' of the proceeds that get to the cause itself. In which case, if you actually gave a crap about the cause..just give directly.

Yeah, that was kind of my point, but I suppose if this gimmick gets some people to buy it and therefore "give to charity," it is helpful.

However, if it were not giving money to charity, then it is even more pointless.

Meh. It's actually arguable that its "Awareness" might get someone to feel up their breast that had been ignoring it and in turn get them to catch something in time. If that scenario works for just one person then it's pretty worth it.
