Worst Comic Book Movies

Title speaks for itself. I do have all these films listed in my favorite comic book movies list (because I rank all my comic films there, regardless of whether I liked them or not), but I figured this would be more convenient for people to find. Please remember that these are my opinion, and I know some will disagree. But please don't try to start an argument about this list for no reason.

Also, so that way I'm not completely negative, I will list one good thing about each of the films.

NOTE: I have not seen Superman Returns, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Captain America (1990), or Steel. So none of those could be on the list.

Honorable Mentions: Daredevil, X-Men: First Class, Iron Man 3, & Thor: The Dark World.

Amazing Spider-Man wasn't that bad. Hulk wasn't as bad as Batman & Robin or Fantastic Four in my opinion.

I liked the Amazing Spider-Man.

Ghost Rider 2 was far and away worse than Amazing Spider-man. Personally I didn't think Amazing Spider-man was actually a bad movie. Don't get me wrong it was far from great it was an average movie it just looks bad in comparison to Spider-man 2. Spider-man 3 was also a bit worse than ASM.

I hate that superman 4 is worse then 3, that doesn't make sense to me. I also think its lame that Catwoman isn't on this list, and Fantastic 4's should be at least higher then ghostrider.

I disagree with your thoughts, but the world would be boring if we all had the same opinion.

Haven't seen GR2, so I couldn't say. I also disagree about SM3 being worse, but I'm one of the only people who liked SM3 (though I'm starting to hate it more and more after each rewatch).

I didn't even notice that IV was lower than III. I'll change that. I actually kind of liked Catwoman, so I didn't add that to the list.

I'll have to take your word for it. I haven't seen it, and comments like this make me not want to watch it.

@thecannon: Its not even one of those terrible movies you can laugh at. Its just punishingly awful.

Oh you hated Batman Forever?... LOL. I liked it more than Batman & Robin at least... it wasn't the best, but DEFINITELY better than B & R. In my humble opinion of course. Also, is He-Man considered a comic book movie? the one with Dolph Lundgren in it.

NICE LIST!

I agree with most of the list, though there were much worse movies than Amazing Spider-Man. Catwoman, for example, or Ghost Rider II.

I agree with all of these. Amazing Spider-Man was highly overrated. People were even saying it was better than Avengers.

I must say that I like Superman 3 & 4. Only because I'm a fan of Reeve. The scene in Superman 4 when he and Nuclear Man fall off the building wrestling each other is painful to watch with its terrible special effects. They even had black outlines around them when they were flying.

I agree with everything but Hulk, in my opinion that film was really smart, fantastically acted and far deeper and more emotional than it's source material.
