Shame on you for putting Dark Knight Rises over Thor...The Batman movies aren't even close to Thor's quality, I don't care how good it is...as a Thor movie fan you should be ashamed of yourself.

Well since Thor is back in its rightful spot, my liking(or blessing) this list has restored...I thought some alien might of kidnapped and replaced you, first you say you like the Nolan Batman movies better than Burton ones(which is already not like you) but then you place a Norton Batman movie above Thor which is something TheCannon never does.

Nice list. I want to make one of my own now.

cool

Wow, sorry, I just really didn't think Thor was very good. It wasn't bad IMO; it was just meh.

I LOVED it. It was my favorite movie until seeing the Avengers. Then again, I love Thor and his comics, so I'll probably like it more than most.

Nice to see Thor so high, a very underrated film

Okay, f*ck what someone says about it. The Dark Knight Rises puts Thor to shame and that's being ranked #2.

this list is completely inaccurate the Dak Knight is betterthan the Avengers and @bluelantern1995:Batman movies have better quality than every single Marvel movie the MCU and any other Marvel is no match for the Nolanverse

plus Spider-man 3 is the worst movie on your list, @thecannon why is it above the Dark Knight, Batman Begins, the first 2 Spider-man movies, and the Iron Man movies, Captain America the First Avenger, etc.

Posted by TheCannon

@scottyhawkeye: I never said it was the greatest comic movies (The Dark Knight Rises would be first then). It's my favorite.

And your kind of overrating the Nolanverse while underrating the MCU. The MCU is the greatest superhero movie franchise of all time. Nolanverse is great, but just doesn't compare overall.

First off, I don't care how much people hate Spider-Man 3, it is not the worst on the list. Hulk, Elektra, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, both Fantastic Fours, The Amazing Spider-Man, etc. are FAR Worse than what people make Spider-Man 3 out to be. And again, this is my favorites, not ranking the greatest. Stuff like Iron Man, Begins, and Captain America is better than SM3. But I liked 3 more than all of those.

The Amazing Spider-man is by far better than Spider-man 3, after the emo dancing Spider-man, and the performances were atrocious even if Kirsten Dunce, Tobey Miguire, James Franco, and J.J. Simons were in the first 2 they fucked things up pretty bad in the 3rd movie, but what was worse was performances done by Topher Grace and Thomas Hayden Church it's worse the ALMOST ALL the movies on your list.

The Nolanverse Batman is the greatest superhero movie franchise not the MCU, The Nolanverse Batman made the greatest movie trilogy ever

@scottyhawkeye: Compared to the terrible performances from Andrew Garfield, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka and a mediocre performance from Rhys Ifans, we can call it even.

The Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger. Not enough for you? Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Chris Evans as Captain America, Gwenth Peltrow (I think that's her name) as Pepper Potts, Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. All these things beat Begins & The Dark Knight, and about tie with The Dark Knight Rises, so MCU wins.

the performances done by Andrew Garfield, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka weren't as bad as those done by Kirsten Dunce, Tobey Miguire, James Franco, J.J. Simons, Topher Grace, and Thomas Hayden Church, frankly i like the Amazing Spider-man better than all the others.

are you sure Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Aaron Eakhart as Two-face Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow i'[m sure that's better in comparison to any MCU casting

Posted by TheCannon

@scottyhawkeye:

  • Downy as IM > Bale as Bats
  • Hiddleston as Loki > Ledger as Joker (but extremely slightly)
  • Eakhart as TF < Whoever played Red Skull, Iron Monger, Whiplash, and Abomination.
  • Tom Hardy as Bane = Tom Hiddleston Loki (I'll give you that one. Only reason Bane isn't higher is because of the scene following the final fight, but the fight was the best in any comic movie ever)
  • Hathaway as Catwoman = All other female casting in MCU again, I'll give you that one)
  • Murphy as Scarecrow > Most villains in MCU (loses to Loki and possibly Red Skull)

So overall MCU wins all things you tried to put against it.

Also, if you're trying to argue better casting in the Nolanverse, than where's Ra's al Ghul, Luis Fox, Commissioner Gordon, and Alfred?

Edited by ScottyHawkeye

@thecannon: No Bale did the best job at portraying his character, Bale officialize who the best superhero ever is and that's Batman no bets, and forgot those overall Nolanverse (it chose to give the superhero ever to get the superhero movies ever, justice has been served)

X-Men 3 above X2, no way

The list is my opinion. I know it's not a popular opinion, but it's mine.

I think that you're over rating X-Men: First Class... THAT WAS THE WORST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER MADE!!! And no, I do not think that

The Dark Knight is over rated at all. It deserves every bit of praise that it gets. It was a complete masterpiece, and easily, hands down, the best film in the entire Nolan franchise. In fact, I would even go so far as to say that it is one of the best films (all films, not just comic book films) of all time.

Good list, not one I can agree with completely but it is certainly well thought out :)

Thank you. It's nice to have a comment that isn't just complaining about how I ordered it.
