Live action comic series seem to be getting bigger nowadays. DC has Arrow, Marvel has Agents of SHIELD, & Image has The Walking Dead. There's also several shows in development such as The Flash, Agent Carter, a Walking Dead spin-off, and others I'm forgetting. I decided to make a list of characters I'd like to get a live action TV series.
I am aware he's getting a Netflix series, but I'd personally like to see a show that's actually on television for those of us who don't have Netflix (like me).
I'm aware that Luke Cage & Iron Fist are getting Netflix series like Daredevil, but I'd rather see them get a series on TV. Personally, I'd like to see a first season center around Luke & Iron Fist, and later seasons expand the roster a little. They could even have this take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (just please keep the comedy to a minimum).
The X-Men movies are good (most of them), but I personally feel a TV series would work better, simply because of the amount of characters. There's just too many characters for a movie to have (something shown in previous films like The Last Stand), and I feel a TV show would allow all characters the chance to shine. I'd love to see an X-Men live action show with an extremely high budget with about 13 episodes a season. I'd personally have the first season center around the original 5 X-Men (Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Angel, & Jean Grey. & Professor Xavier obviously) and later seasons introduce other characters like Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler (assuming it's possible with a TV budget) Rogue, Gambit, Kitty Pryde, etc. (Wolverine I'd personally want as a character who just randomly shows up every now & then instead of part of the main cast).
I know it's technically a video game, but the comics are on Comic Vine's wiki so I'm listing it. I know they're working on a ME movie, which could be cool, but just wouldn't give the story & characters the time needed to develop, something a TV show could. Just make three seasons, each based off of the games. And if you do make a Mass Effect TV show (or movie), please do the following:
1. Use a female Shepard (and don't add any sex appeal. Just treat her like a Commander, don't draw attention to her being a female).
2. Cast an actress as Shepard who can act and is believable in the role of a marine/soldier (whatever Shepard is suppose to be). Casting some model who can't act would be just awful.
3. Have Kaidan as the love interest in Season 1, and Garrus in Seasons 2 & 3.
4. Cast Seth Green as Joker.
5. Cast Martin Sheen as Illusive Man.
6. Don't end the show with the Starchild. Just, please don't. Finish it with the Crucible firing, Shepard & Anderson's conversation, and some epilogue scenes.
