My thoughts on Thor For Asgard

So I have just got done reading the Thor: For Asgard mini series under the Marvel Knights imprint and i guess saying i have mixed feelings about it would make the most sense. Now I believe the overall plot was pretty interesting although not anything that hasn't been done before but solid none the less. I thought Character development was extremely good  and made me feel that i could get a good grasp of the characters personalities even if i hadn't actually read many  Thor books before. Now my main problem with this story arc comes from the pacing it feels as if they tried to crunch a lot of ideas into not enough issues. For some reason what really sticks out in my mind about this book is the scene where Undar reads the scroll i feel it was very forced in the way it came about, coincidentally Thor and  Brunnhilde  were over heard talking about the event that transpired in Valhalla i don't feel the current ruler of Asgard would be so careless with news as import as that. Then on top of that Undar just happened to be stationed there so they could try to explain the timing of it. Anyway that one part just really stuck out as forced now don't get me wrong i did enjoy the mini-series as a whole i just wouldn't recommend it to anyone that has limited time to read comics because well there is just so much better stuff out there.
