1.The style of which u speak Babs is "decompression" popularised or invented by Japanese Manga artists that started gainin wider mainstream popularity around the time Authority utilised it back in the day.. hmmm cant remember but didnt Bendis used to do Authority?
2.I JUST realised the all the political references to past recent (&possibly future) U.S. &ESPECIALLY world events in Siege & Dark Reign.. pretty stark but not so OVERTLY obvious that it takes away from the emotive storytelling &breathtaking art . The only way the allegory could be less relevant is if in fact SHIELD/H.A.M.M.E.R. (guess what the allegory THATS for) WASNT being run by some unpredectable incompetent faux-patriotic "madman" who was eventually deposed, leavin the organisation in a complete shambles for the new "heroic age" to clean up......... I joke.. I kid..
3.Also noticed theyre sorta "resembling" Steve Rogers to Worthington (ala Samuel L Jackson) in the art recently.. another hmmm

Thing is Grayson will ALWAYS have some kindof inferiority complex when it comes to the cowl because of the extremely high esteem in which he holds his mentor/father.. but I DO think he's capable ofbeing a uniquely effective but DIFFERENT batman I always envisioned him being his OWN kind of batman not this copycat version he's trying (&faling miserably I might add) to pull off I just think this is a bump that he has to go through to realise Bruce is Bruce..he can NEVER be him.. he needs to be his own Batman an imitation of something great is still an imitation right?
Does anyone else see the homage/resemblance to the Allstar Batman & Robin? Which also involved crooked cops & an extremely harsh/crazy/warped Bruce "Im the goddamned BATMAN" Wayne.. I think he even says get on your feet soldier when Dick starts complaining at some point.. can anyone verify
The question isnt wether Smith IS gonna or even WANTS to be Cap.. NoOne with HALF a brain took the rumor seriously then or now, its the cynical tho not entirely shocking reaction &over reaction of superzealous comic & non-comic fans & non-fans alike spitting poititical, faux-patriotic or racial diatribe/justifications as to WHY he should NEVER even be CONSIDERED, as if to say even doing so would be UN-american, which in this day & age is actually HILARIOUS...
Personally I didnt think he should play Cap.. (Ive said many times Garrett Hedlund should get the role esp since realisin my original 1st pick Worthingtons 5'10 &has never done a U.S. accent..) but my REASON is theres never been an interpretation of a Black Cap outside of Isiah Bradley..making the idea un-REALISTIC.. not IMPOSSIBLE or UNTHINKABLE. Saying Smith could NEVER play a Captain America & *threatening suicide* or *torching your 20yr subscription/comics collection* if he EVER DOES (frankly I think the latter ideas worse) is akin to sayin NO BLACK man could/should EVER BE "Captain America"............& THAT fellow Viners IS racist.. or just really ignorant.

I like Cap, but not just cause he's a poor humble son of immigrants, a badass who can take on prettymuch ANYONE in the Marvel Universe, a natural leader or even the whole man out of time ethic.... its what he STANDS for.. an IDEAL.. which frankly aint got sh!t to do with the colour of his eyebrows............. So if COMIC chiefs suddenly decide to turn him into Steven "Running Eagle" Rogers last surviving descendant of a Wompanoag tribe turned Super Soldier.... even though I'd question the motives &the direction their taking, I get the feelin I wouldnt be as PISSED off or DISGUSTED as SOME might be at the idea.. I sure as hell wouldnt throw myself off a bridge. But hey... Neo-Nazi's read comics too right?
