Good list. I'm not sure if anything that originated in a cartoon is really that obscure though, Red X at least has a ridiculous fan base outside of comic readers
@blackarmor: I was thinking more in terms of the DCU. They've been in a few tie-in comics, but little to nothing has been done with them in the main universe. It's still a work in progress.
