What the hell T'Challa!

So I've been trying to keep up with comics which is quite the feat since I'm limited on money(just started new job yay me!) and earlier today I was looking online for some current information about what was going on between Logan and Ororo or whether or not this was just a tease like so many comic book covers had been. We all know that Logan and Ororo have always flirted, but have never consumated their relationship(at least not in the 616). I, of course, being an avid fan of both characters definitely approve of the chance of them finally being together. It would be a great development to both and might put Ororo more in the spotlight and possibly be what pushes her into her own book along with a healthy way for her to drop one of my least favorite nicknames that I've seen for her, Ice Queen. I think a relationship between Logan and Ororo(aka LoRo) will calm Logan and make Ororo embrace that African wild side of hers more. He's one of the few people who can take the total destruction of the infamous Rogue Storm and possibly help keep her on that level of knowledge that she is only human. Now when I finally found what I was looking for I found something that disturbed me so much. T'Challa basically telling Ororo to stay away from Logan. He said he'd give his blessings for her to be with any one other than him and that he, T'Challa, will always love her. Now going from my understanding of the previous comics I read where he announced that he had annulled their marriage and there wasn't any type of visible forgiveness at the time or explanation as to why. They were both angry and hurt. Ororo had her heart crushed especially since he hadn't come to her before and spoken with her about the annullment. He just did it. Here's my question. Forgetting the fact that they have just officially been divorced, what gives T'Challa the right to make a special request of Ororo not to be with Logan? In my eyes, he ended the relationship and she could be with whomever she chooses. That would be like her asking him not to date Monica Rambeau(who is the only character I could truly see with T'Challa) because she'd rather him choose any one, but the woman whom he shares a romantic bond with. Is this a fair request from him or is he still trying to basically control her? In my eyes, he's given up one of the best things that's ever happened to him and this request is illogical and unfair and if I were her not only would I ignore it, but I'd buck against it. Is there some form of dependency that has been built between the two that they basically have to listen to each other? Had he always known he was the wrong man for her, but selfishly wants to keep the only other man he could see as competition for Ororo's heart away from her? I am very confused by what the writers are trying to do, but it is appearing more and more like a good bit of us comic fans are finally getting what we want. A 616 relationship between Logan and Ororo. The problem is, will T'Challa be the thing that keeps our meant to be lovers apart?
