you know, it's rather interesting how a year or two ago very few people would have named GA as the best. Its good to see the series has improved enough to be not just nominated on a monthly basis in my Best of the Month poll, but for the Comic Awards. Very cool.

This is definitely why I run things like this: because I'm fascinated to see different perspectives and how those perspectives change over time.

yeah, we like to do this sort of thing every year. The staff used to do these user recognition / award kind of things (we called them Community Stars or Community Spotlight). However, since we don't do that anymore, we kind of thought the best way to put a spotlight on the community was to do these threads each year (actually it was kind of different but that's the story I'm telling...yay for changing history!)
