Is the O.G.N. canon? I mean, this clearly is.

Marvel Studios know exactly what they want, and Edgar Wright knows what he wants.

The fact that I've loved every M.C.U. movie so far (Except Iron Man 3) means that I will trust them. Edgar Wright seemed to think that because nobody "knows" Ant-Man, he could do what he wanted. I never liked that. I'm not GLAD he's gone, but I don't care.

I actually don't see how the original story was so impossible to stay truer to. I'm really not seeing that.

It's an incredibly simple story. The only reason all the cast was changed was for simple box office reasons. However, Wolverine is in it ANYWAY. There was no reason for him to take the lead role over Kitty. None.

Also, what was the point in adding ALL those characters and making a big deal of them returning when:

1. They weren't in the original story.

2. They weren't even "in" this film? Sunspot didn't even have any lines. Blink had about three. You don't need them, so don't include them. It can't be a fan nod because fans of them won't dig that.

It was just frustrating because this could've been the first X-Movie I've ever really liked. At times it felt so dark and grim, but then it just destroyed itself like they always do.

Plus, please no Quicksilver ever again. WHAT is the point in having him in this and not have him as Magneto's kid or anything? They presumably took Wanda out due to The Avengers 2, but then just remove Quicksilver. His part could've gone to any speedster, an original speedster or any stealthy mutant. Like, I DUNNO. Nightcrawler?!

What a mess. Fox is InGen. Doing things before considering if they should.

Also, why do they not interact in X-Men 1? Marvel Studios movies interlock perfectly because they were planned from the start. Fox trying to retroactively jam these into continuity is dumb.

Trask was a big, black man in The Last Stand. Now he is, literally, the opposite. Why could Kitty do that? Why not have ANY psychic? Why not have Emma Frost be a survivor so at least she could do it? WHY NOT THE PROFESSOR?! IT'S A PSYCHIC THING.

People are literally so stupid that they have to have titles like this now.

I just hope they have Matt Murdock crying and film it exclusively at night and never have any happiness ever.

*Transforms from sad, Can't-Get-Over-Miller Daredevil fan*

Yeah, we'll see how it goes.

The suit looks like Batman. What more can you say? I don't like the symbol or the abs, but meh.

It looks like a Batsuit. Batmobile looks good. So what? The SMART, non-reactionary people always had the hunch that Affleck would end up being one of the things that likely isn't wrong with this movie. People go off on their nutjob rants and then act like him looking ok is a revelatory moment. No, you're just ridiculous.

"He was bad as Daredevil."

He wasn't the problem with that film either. That 10-year-old film. That 10-year-old film that will be 12 years old when Batman Vs Superman comes out.

What's next? Did you protest Bale as Batman because he did Reign of Fire?

I sort of want Waid to just start doing abnormal and radical things with Matt to annoy Jonny Anonymous and Daredevil21184. Just because they will literally never, ever stop reading the book (Which I bet they don't pay for, voiding their opinion anyway).

It's so funny. Mark Waid could walk on water and those guys would say it's because he can't swim.

"Didn't we already get the story of Maggie?"

We got A story. If the new one make sense and works well enough, why can't it be good? Has nobody ever told you a lie? Not every story you get told in life is true. Maybe the story we got isn't true.

@thewalkingdeadpool18: "I never put the time in to learn about Inhumans."

That might be why you have no clue. I'm just guessing here.

I thought it was awful.

The film plods along with the most awkward and crowbarred of romantic comedy plots, ropey action and boring dialogue. It then misuses one of Spidey's most tragic life events to create lazy drama, rather than having written it well. By the time IT happens, I stopped caring about the characters in the film. They didn't work out their differences, they just overcome them because the plot required it.

Foxx was WASTED as Electro. Corny to the point of eyerolling and nausea. Same for Osborn.

Plus, why did they gender swap Ashley Kafka and make her into a man who was essentially a parody of every Nazi scientist?
