I just think it has to do with the fact that Geoff Johns really likes the character. His run of Teen Titans, Cyborg teaming up with the player in DCUO (which Johns wrote the script for), Cyborg replacing Superman as Earth's Greatest Hero in the alternate reality Flashpoint story (also written by Johns), Cyborg as a founding JLA member in Smallville (Johns had a couple of episodes he wrote for that show, maybe he was a creative assistant), and finally Johns' Justice League run has Cyborg as a founding member.

I honestly thought that woman with the white hair and black outfit was Black Canary, but now I'm starting to suspect it could be China White. But I very much hope for Dinah to become Canary. This lawyer role works as something to fall back on, but I don't want to see one of DC Comics premier female superheroes turned into a third rate Lois Lane

1. Brainiac 2. Metallo 3. Bizarro (make him more of a brute, with a sinister personality, who enjoys tortue and acts bizarre, similar to Smallville and Superman: Doomsday, or even the classic reversed backwards logic. When done well, the reverse logic actually isn't as cheesy as it seems.) 4. Darkseid and the Forces of Apokolips (While retconned as a Superman villain, might be better kept for a Justice League movie. Still, dropping in a little teaser of him wouldn't hurt.) 5. Parasite (give the Superman film a slight horror element to it, with Parasite not just stalking Clark for his powers, but everyone. He can get energy from everything after all.) 6. Toyman (done as a children's entertainer who went mad and now stalks the kids or wants to subject his victims to real life adult in children sitations, kind of like Superman the Animated Series, where he was psychotic, instead of just a criminal who uses gimmick toys as weapons) 7. Mister Mxyzptlk (if done with the right actor and character costume design, don't dumb down his magic, just make him more serious, kinda like he was in Lois and Clark, he could actually work on the big screen. Peter Dinklage, anyone?) 8. Doomsday (if he's gonna kill Superman in a movie, I feel like it should be a two-part movie. Otherwise, the comic iteration of his origins work, or again simplified, like in Superman: Doomsday.) 9. Intergang (maybe have them as secondary villains, having them having their ties to Apokolips, as your teaser to Darkseid.) 10. Silver Banshee (would be super cool to do. A femme fatale. They could have her so that she wants to kill men and spread her curse but she comes off as a seductress first, and then transforms to kill them.) *Honorable Mentions*: 1. Lex Luthor as the ruthless billionaire business man or having his mech armor for the first time. 2. Other forms of Kryptonite besides Green, every color having a different effect on Clark. What do you guys think?

meh. DC Comics whups Marvel's ass on animated films. Though Marvel's live action movies tend to fare better. (with the exception of the Batman Begins Trilogy)

Braniac and Metallo for Man of Steel the sequel if that happens. Go with the enforcer/main villain route that Batman Begins had with The Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul. John Corben could be a military man that Supes admires because he can save people and battle evil without super powers. And then Superman fails to save him from a near fatal explosion. His brain is still funcioning however, and they attempt to put his brain in a robotic body to allow him to continue to use his skills for the military. The experiment proves to be a failure however, and Corben appears deceased. At this time, Brainiac arrives on the planet, through events established from teasers in the previous film, and wishes to absorb the knowledge of Earth. He seeks out Corben's new robotic form, needing an agent to act for him directly, and uses his advanced technology to create Metallo and put him under his thrall (similar to the Action Comics Collector of Worlds New 52 storyline). He uses Kryptonite, something he aquired on his voyage to Earth, and uses it as a power source for Metallo. Brainiac decides to black out the city as he steals knowledge from Earth, similar to Smallville. Superman manages to defeat the villains with the help of the Daily Planet characters and the army. Toward the end, an agent of Lexcorp discovers an arsenal of different powered Kryptonites in Braniac's ship amd reports to Lex Luthor to come in for the third movie. Hell, Luthor could bring back Metallo in the third movie, equipping him with different Kryptonites, giving him different powers, similar to what he did in the Last Son story by Geoff Johns and Richard Donner. There you go.

Well Morrison leaves after 16 or 17. Andy Diggle replaces him with 18. So far, we've already seen Morrison use Brainiac, Lex, and Metallo, with an updated version of the Kryptonite Man (K-Squad/K-Men), and I think the Kryptonite Man himself appeared in a recent annual), and mention of Mr. Mxy. It has been revealed however, with Scott Lobdell taking over the Superman self titled comic, that it will feature a crossover with Superboy and Supergirl, featuring a character named H'ell, who looks very similar to Bizarro, with the reversed "S-Shield" on his chest.

meh, Marvel has better live action movies, DC has better animated movies. Though Ultimate avengers 1 and 2 was good, as was Doctor Strange. But Hulk vs? my only beef with Marvel's animated movies is that they pander to the fans too much. Oh, Iron Man with RDJ is doing great, so let's make him the new focal point for our stories and movies. Oh, Hulk got a great fan reaction in The Avengers? Let's put him in there with Iron Man. Marvel may be more well along with their live action flicks, but DC's got the monopoly on the animated movies.
