Guiles defense is very good, and his counter game is top notch, but Jax is built to blow through defense and overwhelm. Good fight. I'd say even.

@OniLordAsmodeus: are we not going to factor in that jax can do things like shake the ground just by punching? Just curious

I think jax takes it his metal arms are capable of stopping things like gunfire he was a bad ass in his own game (even tho it was a pain in the butt lol) somebody already mentioned shaking the ground and he has his own version of sonic boom so to say plus all the different things he has had to fight I think gives him the edge. Guile is ba for sure but I think he falls just a little short.

Those abilities were being taken into account, but just because Jax can punch that hard doesn't mean he could beat Guile.

That being said, MKX made Jax out to be a monster after he deflected fireballs from Liu Kang that were strong enough to take down military helicopters. But yeah, Guile is a beast in H2H, and is regarded as a great fighter having won multiple US MA championships within the SF universe. Despite the strength difference, I think Guile can hold his own against Jax in the skill department.
