The last two ending scenes were both fantastic. This might have been Arrow's best episode of the entire series!

I love both characters but that could be tricky picking the flash because Barry just got introduced on Arrow (would you have two actors playing the same character in two different venues), Batman is older, but does that mean other heroes will be older too? (have GL, flash, WW already been there before Man of Steel)?
If they choose Wally for the movie-Barry has to be mentioned as an influence on Wally cause that is part of the character. If they choose Barry, I want to see the Wally character in the universe at somepoint and see him get hit by lightning. If they decide to kill any character it will probably be Barry-because in his death he can potentially be the lightning that gives Wally the powers.
For JL-I hope they choose Barry at first but I do want to see Wally as the Flash at somepoint in the universe. Barry is the legacy of the Flash, but Wally is considered to be the full potential of the Flash. Barry evens says Wally would be a better influence on the world that he would be.
There may be some influences from Flash Rebirth, but I believe Flashpoint is the main storyline which involves where Professor Zoom kills barry's mom.
Under the Red Hood by a little. I really liked both. Flashpoint was a little too graphic for my taste. The art was different at times, but i think it was good that it was different because it would have been very weird to see some important characters really do some graphic violence. The alternative art style cushioned the scenes a little at least in my opinion.
"teen drama/romance series with a superhero twist."
^This sounds like it will be one of CW's crappy drama shows and not an actual comic show. Which is sad considering how good the animated series was.
A great issue. They had a great run on flash. The art work they brought to flash was unreal.
I wonder if the Iris and Barry love story is getting delayed by the whole policy of heroes cant be happy or get married from DC. I hope that is not the case. It would be nice to see barry happy or at least content. If you think about the flash legacy-just about all of them cherished their lives and wives (Jay, Barry, and Wally). Their lives weren't always hunky-dory, but they were able to attain a level of contentment.
Sometimes heroes go through hell and they fight through their pain and that makes them a hero. I also believe another type of hero would be someone who has every right to be complacent (happy life, wife, good job), but refuses to stand by and let bad things happen. It would be nice to see in DC pretty soon, and it would bring a different dimension to story telling.
Final Crisis battle: Batman & Superman &the Flashes vs Darkseid
Terry McGinnis vs the Joker (return of the joker comic)
Wally West vs Zoom (flash blitz)
Nightwing vs Jason Todd (battle for the cowl)
Batman vs the Talons (court of owls)
I agree with the points of your article, but also like to add one. Flash only has one book per month right now. If you look at the other big characters in DC (Bats, Sups, WW, and GL) they all have several books, but flash only has one despite having such a large universe of characters. DC has made a large push within the last year or two for flash related media (i.e. flashpoint movie and upcoming flash tv series).
Maybe (**fingers crossed) the current rogues book is a test for an ongoing rogues series. A second book would help expand the universe and get the common fans more familiar with the flash universe.
Man of Steel proved the could show super-speed on the big screen. Flash should be up next!
