My Current Pull List

Hey all! This is constantly updated with the titles I'm currently pulling and a short description on my take of the title.

List items

  • At the point this started I hadn't read Grant Morrison's Animal Man run (I know, I know, I have since) but the amazing cover for #1 was definitely what pulled me in. Travel Foreman's disturbing artwork and Lemire's dark family drama really crafted this title into one of the best and most unique DC titles being put out. The Rotworld arc really dragged in places but Steve Pugh taking the reins on the art has been superb. I still highly recommend this series and really look forward to what Lemire has planned for the series.

  • John's best current title without a doubt. The 'Others' arc slowed the title down a bit but it has picked up steam and is forging on to be one of the best current titles from DC. Ivan Reis and Paul Pellitier's artwork has been amazing on this title as well.

  • A group of the coolest DC/Vertigo heros together in one book? Sign me up! The title almost lost me during the I, Vampire cross-over but Lemire has made me fall in love with the book all over again. I'm still not fond of DC Constantine but I love everyone else in the title.

    - On the verge of dropping due to Trinity War

  • I hopped on board with this as soon as I heard Lemire and Sorrentino were taking the reins and it's been great. Sorrentino's art is gorgeous and his minimalist coloring works so well. Lemire again does a great job with the character and has really turned this title completely around.

  • The series has had it's downs but by and large I still really enjoy this book. Doug Mahnke's art has been superb and am really glad he's stuck with the title the whole way through.

  • I missed the Court of Owls arc sadly, but started pulling with issue #13. Easily one of my favorite pulls. It took me a while to get used to Capullo's art but now I look forward to seeing his work more than most others every month.

  • I loved Batman Inc. Volume 1 and was really excited when it started back up. Easily my favorite pull each week it comes out. Chris Burnham's art works perfectly with Morrison's work.

  • In the short time this book has been out I'm already enjoying it more than I did Justice League. I really look forward to seeing more of Simon Baz and Martian Manhunter in the DC universe.

    - On the verge of dropping due to Trinity War

  • One of the most fun and visually astounding titles out right now. Fraction's quirky offbeat humor and Allred's gorgeous visuals make this an absolutely amazing book.

  • Jason Aaron can do no wrong in my book. I loved his run on Wolverine as well as Punisher MAX. Aaron partnered with Esad Ribic doing a Thor story? Awesome. The title has been amazing so far and I'm really looking forward to seeing what he has planned with the character.

  • The line-up of heroes and John Cassaday was what mainly attracted me to the title, but I can honestly say I've really enjoyed what Remender has done. From the first WTF moment at the end of issue 1 to the awesome fight that encompassed issues 2-4, I'm really digging this title. It sucks that Cassaday is leaving but Daniel Acuna seems like he'll be a great fit.
