I, for one, love the way Starlin writes Thanos. He always gives an introspective, very cerebral look at the character's psyche. The recent run in Infinity was cool because it showed how much of a brick he is, but Thanos' true might has always been his brain and cunning.
In Infinity Revelation, we get to see both the brain and the brute at work.
Overall its was a decent book. Lackluster ending for me, but still worth the money.
I think "fun movie" sums it up pretty well. Overall, the movie was just below Cap 2 and Avengers. But I do have issues with it, probably more than most because the cosmic Marvel characters are my favorites. Rocket and Groot were great. Drax was ok/good. Quill was better. Biggest dissappointment for me was Gamora. There were a few times she comes off as a weak, whiny, sympathetic woman - and that is NOT Gamora.
I've always wondered if a Godblast would KO Thanos? It can't kill him that's for sure. The other team members could keep Thanos busy while Thor charges up the Godblast. As Thanos can take 3 close range Black Bolt screams, I'm not sure. Is a GodBlast that much more powerful than BB screams?
