Fraction Takes the FF Books

So with Marvel NOW! coming we get to see more previews about the creative teams on the upcoming new titles we gonna get.And with that we saw that Fraction will take both Fantastic Four and FF.

So what do you guys think?Would Fraction ruin FF and Fantastic Four or would he make something cool like Invincible Iron Man?

I liked his Iron Man run (stopped during Fear Itself, even though I liked the tie-ins on that book, mostly money reasons).

I might check it out.

I'm on a bit of a Hickman high, so I'm pretty sure it won't match up with his run. I'm also not big on Fraction's writing on team books, but if it gets good reviews I'll give it a shot.

He did a great job on Invincible Iron Man and I still am loving his work on it but his Thor run and X-Men run were awful.

Yeah, I tried his Thor once and wasn't happy with what I got.

I am hoping this means that someone besides Fraction will write Defenders. For those of you who are optimistic about him writing FF, go pick up back issues of Defenders and then see what you think about him writing a team book.

I don't think that he would leave Defenders.

@TDK_1997: I admit that's optimistic of me, but for him to stay on it would mean he's writing 4 ongoing books (Fantastic 4, FF, Hawkeye and Defenders), plus whatever event or mini Marvel will have him working on. That's quite a workload.

It's kinda weird - I really liked Iron Man, but Defenders turned out criminally boring for me. So I'm wary a bit of Fraction on F4...

I'm dropping Fantastic Four for Hickman's Avengers in November. Or another good book, I haven't decided yet. I'm mad at Fraction for ruining Thor.

I might try the first issue of both series but I don't have very high expectations for either book since Fraction is on them.

Pffffft that's Fraction. He would handle 10 titles if he wants.......and also he will ruin them.LOL

I believe in fantastic four regardless of who's writing it.

Am I the only one that thought his Thor run, particularly the Galactus arc, were awesome?

His Uncanny was kind of hit-and-miss, but his Hawkeye, Iron-Man and Iron Fist were/are all great. I'll take those odds.

The Galactus arc was good but everything else was BLAAAH!

What, even Uber-Blackest-Death-Metal Thor? I thought that was hilarious.

That was the worst.

That was the worst thing to happen with Galactus in a long time and the worst thing to happen to the Silver Surfer ever.

Fraction taking over the only two Marvel books I'm reading is the worst news I could possibly hear.

Sad days ahead

I still think there is a chance he will do good things with this run. Maybe I am naive and insane.

I think this will be a good fit for him

Why apologize?

It's not like you're Matt Fraction in a clever disguise.
