Nightwings and Flamebirds

There have been many characters to use these names. Always in a duo.

  • Created the identity of Nightwing while visiting the bottled city of Kandor in the pre COIE reality. Modeled the identity after his good friend Batman.

  • The first Flamebird. Partner of Superman's Nightwing in the bottled city of Kandor in the pre COIE reality. Modeled after Robin.

  • Took up the identity of Nightwing after Superman left Kandor.

  • Took up the identity of Flamebird after Jimmy left Kandor.

  • After giving up being Robin and handing that identity over to Jason Todd, he chose the name Nightwing to honor his two mentors, Batman and Superman,when he struck out as a solo hero. (Thats the original reason and the best, GO READ THE NEW TEEN TITANS "THE JUDAS CONTRACT" STORYLINE. you won't regret it.)

  • Ret con of the pre COIE Bat-Girl in the post COIE reality. She was crushing on Dick Grayson and Flabebird and Nightwing just go together.

  • Became the Nightwing of Kandor in the post COIE reality.

  • Became the Flamebird of Kandor in the post COIE reality.

  • Nightwing from the New Krypton storyline. Post IC reality.

  • Flamebird from the New Krypton storyline. post IC reality.

  • Grandson of Superman and adopted grandson of Batmanin the "Generations" reality. He kinda countsas a nightwing but he had no flamebird.

  • Team fron the Tangent reality. Strangely no team named Flamebird there though.

  • Acted as Flamebird to Superman's Nightwing during the "Return to Krypton" storyline.

  • Used the name and costume of Nightwing during "One Year Later" arc of Dick Grayson's NIghtwing monthly.

  • Female version of Nightwing who met and worked with Dick Grayson.

  • Enemy of Dick Grayson's Nightwing who perverted the name and identity.
