I'm actually new to comics. I bought a box of old comics for $100 at a garage sale. My wife thought I was nuts. I started looking into the grading and valuations. When I realized I had a couple of valuable books I paid the subscription to comicspriceguide online so that I could easily inventory and grade my comics. That box of comics turned out to be worth roughly $2200. I've been buying up comics left and right lately and have read some of the oder stories. I enjoy the old comics (entire subject of its own) but I picked up on the New 52 with DC and have read every story so far. I think I'm in for the long haul. I like this website too. This is way more fun than your average social network. It has a central focus, a common thread, other than being chatty, so to speak. I'm Matt, I'm 35 and I like comics. Old, new, valuable or not. I've recently even started reading Tiny Titans with my 2 daughters. So I'm glad I found ComicVine. Nice to meet you.
