Great Ride 0

The entire lead up to this film (teasers, trailers, snap shots, etc.) left me with high expectations. Let me state that I have never been a big (or even small) Godzilla fan. I may have found him "cool", but never really got into him (though I have seen some of the older movies). As the release date neared I was concerned about some of the reviews I had heard/read. I must say, the number one complaint, that Godzilla is barely in it, is somewhat legitimate. I definitely would have loved to see him...

A Must See for CBM Fans 0

Found Captain America very enjoyable. I still feel like IM1 was the best of MCU but I would put WS as their second best outing (yes I liked both more than Avengers). WS had the deepest story of any Marvel film to date (imo) and also fewer jokes than IM3 and TDW, which really was refreshing as it helped in keeping the drama more intense.Thought Bucky was a great villain and happy with how they left him at the end of the film. Really felt like Falcon didn't work well on screen and was my least fav...

A B-movie of a Comic 0

The first 2 issues of this series I found interesting mainly for the reason that we got to see a glimpse at Lucas' original vision. But as the series goes on I find I am forcing myself to read it just for the sake of reading through to the end. The writing is just too wooden and events just happen which allow the story to progress and resolve conflicts in an non-suspenseful manner. The 5th issue has been the most forgettable so far. It was a cool idea but this series could using some fleshing ou...

Bat-tastic (unlike this title) 0

Best of this arc yet! Sent chills down my spine. Great look into Bruce/Gordon?Batman's relationship (and the shaky start it had). Scott Snyder is writing a very believable and intruiging young Bruce who lacks some of the maturity and trust of the seasoned Batman we see so often in comics. Great issue in which we see a great deal of growth in character(s)....

Solid Start. 0

Not being a heavy reader of the Marvel universe, at times I felt a little confused and lost, but not as much so as I did in the prelude comics (so not sure if they helped or not). That said, it didn't seem to effect the enjoyment of reading this first issue too much. The outriders are an incredibly cool bunch and will hopefully appear again before this series is through. Loved the artwork, and while overloaded with characters, popping in and out (as they do in big events), I felt that they were ...

It is what it is. 1

If you don't love the t.v. series you probably won't like this. It's campy, silly, outdated and not Batman as he's known. That said, if you enjoyed the Adam West show for what it was then you will probably get a kick out of this (for at least the first issue). The writers and artists cloned the 60's Batman right down to the smallest atom. While perhaps taking the retro throw back a bit far, it brings back great memories of watching the goofy BIFF, POW filled show and is quite comical. While the ...
