Wonder Woman’s Beauty and the costume that wraps around it is as much a part of that character as Superman’s muscles (picture 98 lb superman and you see where I’m going). Re-design any costume you like, go nuts, but be weary when altering the big 3 of DC. Also, their HAS been many changes over the years, more akin to Superman’s and Batman’s changes, simple color changes (slight), positioning of straps, belts, height of her top (lower the better). No one would enjoy a superman comic with him wearing pants and a Jacket, or Batman in a 3 peace suit (not including Bruce Wayne that DOES wear those). The Greek ideal of a mans muscular physique is a major part of those characters. Why the need to de-sexify and their for lessen the interest of an iconic character like Wonder Women. She doesn’t NEED it, keep her as is. Oh and It’s not a bathing suit as much as Superman’s not wearing coveralls or batman’s not wearing a scuba-diving outfit, it’s simply her Ultra sexy, DOESN’T NEED TO CHANGE outfit. In fact, this idea is perpetuating the idea that she is merely to be looked at. Get her some good writers, advance the character (and not that lame Red she-hulk crap kind of advancement). Let her story unravel and expand, it’s ok to be a woman in a mans world, play on that, use that, don’t rage against it and think the queen of all women needs to be woman’s libbed up to match the rest of the world (Jacket pants was just that). She’s powerful the way she is, being a beautiful woman IS a power in and of it’s self, so it’s ok.

Remember, “Super Man” is his title, not necessary to be a description of every single aspect of his being, he probably still feels, thinks, gets mad and may even beadle to get a back problem from sitting too much, keep in mind, he’s built like a body builder, if he couldn’t turn off his strength, he would have never been able to tear down his muscular structure to rebuild it bigger utilising things like proteins.

Some things to think about.

I get into this discussion all the time, and my standing on it has not changed. Lets look at superman’s powers . .

Super Strength (This stands alone, this does NOT mean anything more then just that, also he is not a human, and is not limited to the “Human“ biochemical or Physical limitations of us, though he is still simply a living thing, to assume that he can not turn off his strength like we cant is a bold assumption, as most superman power arguments are in the first place. How do we know he doesn‘t tap into some form of super red bull energy from within himself when he needs to be “super“.)

Super Breath ( He inhales and with great effort and pressure he blows typhoon if not more powerful winds, super cooled air optional ) Lets look at this for a second, why cant he blow super hot air? If his farts knock over buildings when he’s not paying attention, or snores so loud he breaks ear drums, why not with super breath, lets add Fire breath, how about sucking in and creating a black hole… NO? that’s cause the powers read “Super breath”, that’s where it ends.

Super vision ( x-ray save for lead, Telescopic, infrared and many others) Again, clearly defined

Eye lasers ( this very could be an extension of the vision powers, but again, clearly defined)

Invulnerability ( this is a big one, there’s been lots of speculation on this, people say his body would be hard as “Steel” at a touch, things like shaving, washing, hair cuts all fall in this no mans land of un answered possibilities, but Invulnerability or his catch title “Man of steel” he is not actually Steel, But, think about animal cells, they are circular ish, malleable, he is not a plant with stiff square cell structure, or he couldn’t move. his skin would be soft to touch like a normal mammals, just un-breakable, like a piece of rubber that cant be ripped or punched threw, you’d think, ok, then his bones, or organs would rupture during his “Super battles” but Nay Nay, they TOO would be indestructible, this allows him to both pass as human and at the same time utilise his super strength AND beadle to hold a hand or many other every day life things, he would be aware of pressure differences.)

Super Speed ( This one’s no different then the rest and can be explained scientifically, or at least as scientifically as I’d like to get in to. Vibration of molecules in his super cells would literally pull him threw the air , or something to this effect, it is not simply an extension of his strength, or he would need bracing, break sound barrios with every movement, knock over whole structures with a single step from air pressure)

And finally flight ( I believe some extension of the super speed and unstable molecular structure, his particles pull him threw the air, it’s not natural propulsion obviously, no wings, down draft, expenditure of visible energy variation and he can do it in space)

Ok, in conclusion, in my opinion the creature that would be superman is still a bio entity, needing to eat, sleep, drink, go number 2 (and no, I don’t think he’s need a super toiled to withstand his butts rocket launcher like contractions, keep in mind, the matter coming from his bowl is still bound by the laws of physics, not to mention it’s earth food, not super dense Kryptonian depleted uranium) and every other thing a living creature needs.

The concept of his need for yellow sun light came later in the creation of superman, and though it’s been played with in popular culture to utilise this need for sunlight (I’m sure they were running out of ideas at this point on how to challenge him) I believe if it was true, it would be more of a case of sunlight stored over a life time in his cells, like a mutation or other, he’s not a solar panel , this would be over a life time built up in an alien solar system. Also, if would more then likely be a Radioactive light spectrum we can not harness, like something invisible to the eyes of us humans, and would more then likely be saturated into our earth more so then him needing direct sun contact, like residual radiation all around him.

Also, I don’t believe lack of this radiation would lessen his strength, he has stored it over a life time, remember, it’s not a sun tan, it’s a super power activation through mystery radiation.
