I think a complete re-watching of The Clone Wars may be appropriate.

Great looking stuff. I am late to the party but I'm loving Valiant so much from what I've read so far.

That Archer & Armstrong cover is fantastic. I just started getting into Valiant and wow, I have been missing out! Shadowman is already looking to become one of my favorite characters in comics and I will be eagerly diving into all that Valiant has to offer.

@d9000: I'm not putting that on Sheamus. The WWE is. JBL at one point even said something along the lines of, "You know those Irish people, they all love to fight." I don't think it is unfair to expect a certain level of racial sensitivity from a company that has 1) existed as long as the WWE has and 2) is supposed to be PG and attract children. You are right that stereotypes have always been a part of the company but that doesn't make it okay. Also, I must say that your Ric Flair example is a bit flimsy. I wouldn't necessarily say he is a stereotype. More like an on-screen version of his real life self. As for me needing to stay away from the WWE because I don't like stereotype bs, I do tend to watch a lot less wrestling than I used to. Stereotyping isn't the only reason but it is one of them. This is 2014. Time for the WWE to catch up on the times.

The style of art in Savage Dragon isn't my cup of tea but he sure draws some awesome looking monsters. Is that book any good these days? It's impressive to me that it is still going. Same with Spawn even though it seems neither of those books get much attention now. Although, Brian Wood taking over Spawn will probably raise awareness of it.

First, I'd like to say I am sorry about your loss Mat. Deepest condolences. I know I am just a stranger on the internet but I feel for you sir.

Now, wrestling stuff. I think I'd have liked Hell In A Cell a lot more if I hadn't been spoiled on the ending. I work Sundays so I always watch the pay-per-views on Monday after class and I happened to get on Twitter and someone retweeted the Wyatt spoiler into my timeline. The match just had a very different feel knowing exactly how it was going to end. Still loved the chemistry between Ambrose and Rollins though and an Ambrose/Wyatt feud could be gold.

I have to weigh in on the Sheamus discussion. I'm very Irish. Like, most of my lineage is Irish and I have to say that I despise the stereotypical fighting Irishman. It is awful. It's not just that stereotype that I hate in wrestling but ALL of them and there are way too many. The WWE has always existed in this weird time bubble where they don't quite understand how some of the stuff they do could be considered horribly offensive. Remember when Juventud came out on a lawnmower? Like, seriously?!?!?! Anyway, rant over about the WWE's tendency for racism. I also just find Sheamus matches really boring. The only match I have seen of him that I actually enjoyed was with Cesaro but it was mostly because they worked each other so stiff that I could almost feel legitimate heat between the two even if there wasn't any.

@themantisshrimp: Oliver thought he killed him at the end of season one. He never saw him alive after that, until now. Thea and Moira were the only two who did and Moira died before she could tell him and Thea left with Malcolm.

I feel like I enjoyed this episode more than the couple reviews I've seen for it but this season still hasn't quite picked up yet. Especially when compared to The Flash or even the Constantine pilot (which I loved), this season has been lacking. The mystery surrounding Sara's death isn't grabbing me, the flashbacks aren't all that compelling yet, and Laurel is awful. I haven't been fond of her since the beginning of the show but jeez, I was hoping by now she would be worthwhile. Instead, she is lecturing people who have way more experience than her about things she really doesn't understand. Her obvious transition into Canary has been a tough pill to swallow. Also, if it turns out that Ra's was behind Sara's death then that was way too obvious imo. They keep playing up the mystery of it but that is who I assumed was behind it from the second she died. The biggest plus for me in this episode was Katrina Law as Nyssa al Ghul. She is really great in my opinion and I could use even more of her in this show.

This season has been stronger than the first by far but it still doesn't do it for me. I don't watch the show live anymore because I watch Supernatural in that timeslot but I've been recording every episode. I'm a few behind now but I just don't care to watch them. I may wait until most of my shows are on break for the holiday season and then catch up then when I have the time.

@theblackhood: I'm not sure how you can not be a fan of Cumberbatch? He is a great actor who will likely do the character justice. He was probably miscast as Kahn in Into Darkness but he still probably had the best performance in that underwhelming movie. Doctor Strange is my favorite Marvel character (barely edging out Daredevil) and I am fully on board with Benedict bringing him to life on the big screen.

I came here hoping to see The Crow on the list and was not disappointed. I'm glad to see the Hellboy movies on here too. I think they are some of the most underrated comic book films around. Hellboy II is in my top 5 comic book movies ever. I love that movie.
