Great list. I would absolutely love it if Plastic Man is included. I desperately need that to happen

Good list. I may not be a big fan of a few of these characters but I'm super glad to see Daredevil at the top!

I'd be down for most of these. Claremont and JMS can stay away though imo.

Scorpion and Quan Chi are my two favorites. May do my own list like this eventually.

@amazingwebhead: You didn't have to change the list. I just wasn't sure if you knew where the "inspiration" for Freakazoid came from. Good list!

Freakazoid is a rip-off of Madman. I'm surprised Madman wasn't the one on the list

@crazyscarecrow: I have read Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader and I really loved it. Neil Gaiman + anything Batman = amazing. The three stories I had to leave off that I was most conflicted over were Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader, Batman and the Monster Men, and The Killing Joke.

As for Born Again, I just loved Miller's original run on Daredevil so much that I think I went into it with too high of expectations. My favorite Daredevil is definitely the entire Bendis run. It's so damn good and most definitely the best thing he has ever written imo.

That Punisher cover is outstanding!

@madeinbangladesh: I'd actually agree that Born Again is a bit overrated. I like it but it's not great. Frank Miller's original run on Daredevil is fantastic but Born Again was only okay.

As for The Killing Joke, that is definitely an amazing story. I struggled with leaving it off but the ten I put on this list just couldn't be replaced. The Killing Joke would probably be number 11. It has gone down as one of the most legendary Joker stories ever for a very good reason.
