@daredevil21134: Blade is one of my favorite characters in any medium of fiction, but I agree completely. Even if he managed to harm Ichigo (assuming he's not in his human form) Ichigo would just unlock some new power or technique and beat him. That always happens in anime

@daredevil21134: Yes I watched the Blade anime. There are so many things I enjoyed and so many I didn't. The Yagyu sword techniques were great ideas, but they made him use them way way WAY too much. In my opinion Blade should be the greatest swordsman in the Marvel Universe or no lower than top five. He wouldn't rely on such a technique so much. I liked the animation and found the supporting characters to be ok. The fact that they used vampiric creatures from different cultures across the world was fantastic and provided a nice change from the modern vampires we're accustomed to seeing. Didn't really like how they had Deacon Frost whoop Blade's ass so many times. He's nothing special as far as vampires go and to make him into a tragic villain only made him (a mediocre villain at best) into an even stupider one. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. I love Blade so I still go back and watch it from time to time, but it would have been better in the hands of someone who loves the character and wants to make a great anime and story.

I can't believe Blade dosen't have a comic series.He has so much potential
