As an old reader, getting back into comics after quitting The New 52, this issue roped me back in.There are pros and cons I see to the new format and I'll get to the cons later. I must mention, that, seeing some of the old post-Crisis characters returning and finding their way through what was going on was pretty interesting. The original Wally West sporadically make his way through time, trying to reach out to people he's linked to added tension to the different subplots as well. The story was ...

Very poor writing and editing 0

In this story, the future version of Superman who, a hundred years on, used his best friend Luthor's holographic projector to send himself a message back in time. That message: To delay the capture of Luthor for a bit. During that bit, Luthor saves the life of a young man who would later become the psychiatrist who would cure him of his evil.Of course, the issue's first story tells us the tale without Future Superman's ghostly intervention and shows us Luthor saving the boy. A decent start 1

Spoiler Alert!I think the last couple of issues were a huge nod to the 70's and the Super-Friends. The fact that Darkseid is the first (main) villian. The fact that he actually fights them himself from the get-go, the bear hug he gives Supmernan and even the Super-Freinds reference at the end of this book. The Good:The action and he references to stuff like Super-Friends were good. The art is fantastic a usual.Cyborg being a part of the JLA. This seems very interesting. He used to be in the Teen T...

Good story, terrible art. 0

The third Kryptonian is an interesting concept because a lot can be done with anyone coming from Krypton in a story arc. The plot was executed well and the story-telling was decent as well. When one buys a comic book, one usually opens and glances through the pages. I realized that every time I opened this book, I got p...

A must-read story arc 0

Lex Luthor finally goes mad and convinces himself that, if he can't have Metropolis, nobody can! He's dying slowly, due to the cloning process and has decided to destroy metropolis, by detonating various bombs placed around the city and Superman can do nothing to stop them all at once. Superman confronts Luthor, but doesn't have the heart to strike a dying man. Meanwhile, oblivious to what's going on there, Lana is having her wedding, which adds such a bizarre and sad ambience to the whole thing...
