Your jealousy that batman is more popular than any of ur heroes is depressing. Hating isnt gg stop anyone from writing great Batman stories
there are people on this thread AGREEING with me. It isn't jealousy when it's fact. I thought Batman was supposed to be the hero of the downtrodden underdog, it would have been cool like that, but obviously he's way too popular (and doesn't even deserve it) Also, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9xsJU_B8ds
Because it's the world he lives in. It would be stupid of him to just try and avoid people like the Justice League when they could help him fight against enemies he has no chance against, like Bizzaro or Darksied.
He is insane, tbh. Why is he fighting battles he has no business fighting? I understand him dealing out justice in Gotham, but beyond he's out of his league.
Get it, LEAGUE????? No? Okay....
*Walks out room quietly disappointed*
HAHAHA! Shouldn't be that funny but in this context, it's perfect (y) "Out of their League". ha.
obvious, maybe. Exactly how? I think my point of how he's on a constant mid life crisis and trying to show people that he can do shit is an addition to the usual stuff. He's not only all the things you point out. Childhood tragedy is PTSD, and agreeable if it wasn't for all the Rha's al Ghul and Lady Shiva lessons he's had. Repressed homo (and being gay isn't a fault in a person, it's not a disorder) was Dr Wertham's main attack on Batman. He was right about most stuff, except for Superman. Idk if divorce and single moms were as common when he first wrote "Seduction of the Innocent", but he needs to realize some people don't have role models to look up to, and Superman serves really well. Besides, when Wertham criticized Superman, he was looking at Weisinger's Superman. Not a great example of the best character ever. Oh and about repressed Homosexuality,...
Yes, Batman is mentally insane, it's a fact alluded to in like 75% of his good stories, whether it's due to his childhood tragedy, repressed homosexuality, or just plain run-of-the-mill delusion, it's a pretty obvious fact.

I thought this was funny "Superman's body chemistry absorbs all he eats, i.e is a 100% efficient in metabolizing, and therefore does not cause him to age."
Does that mean he doesn't go to the bathroom? and is this because he's on earth because if it's not then he prob shouldn't have an anus (to put it politely). He would have no use for it...except for maybe passing gas which I don't think he would because it would be so powerful that it would probably destroy anything within a 10 foot radius. I also don't see how this regresses or stunts his aging. Is this canon?
Depends on which canon you focus on. I'm considering Dan Jurgens, stemming from John Byrne, the original idea of Jerry Siegel. Yea he doesn't need to shit, because what is shit is the parts not absorbed. After beating Cyborg Superman (Henshaw) at Engine City, with help from Eradicator, he mentions this (or wait, i think it was the issue after that, when Matrix-Supergirl stands in for Clark so they can explain the identity thing, how Clark went missing the exact same number of days as Superman did)
Mr Mira- i mean VISION,... looks very androgynous, and i like that. As an android, that's what he was supposed to be. An outsider, but also some representation for us asexual types (maybe?) Kind of like Data from Star Trek, TNG. But what sense doe that make? Vision and Scarlet Witch were a hot item and Data is "fully functional", confirmed since episode 3.
What? Doc Strange doesn't have high collars anymore? Logan's hair doesn't stand up? At least he's got his mutton chops, yeah yeah. And the Spider symbol, why would you change it? Spider Woman's change is cool, but on Peter? Ben had his Spider, Venom has his spider, Peter should keep his spider
Tim was better as Batman, not in that Battle for the Cowl thing but in the alternate future where Titans (or, Young Justice) takes over as the League members. Tim would be scarier than Bruce, if he ever made it there. Half the time he's questioning if what they're fighting for is worth anything, if they're actually making a change. He wants to give up the Bat moniker. But IF he became Batman,...
Plus he IS a younger version of Batman. Their characters are so much similar, it's as if Tim's story is "Batman: The missing years" Oh, and he also had to go to Paris, train with Shiva, learn weapons AND... did you know he flew into a warzone? He's a step above Dick, both in intelligence and rogues gallery.
that's too bad for the Terry fans, but i'm super happy about this. Why?
