The sad thing is, stuff like this has happened all-over the world well before the gun-control buzz we have today... the only thing is now we hear about every case when before we'd only see cases involving important people.
either way people need to stop being total jackholes and learn how to channel their frustrations..... (read comics, play video games, horde cats)
I feel ya, Hyperion has always been my favorite comic character but since getting his name into the Avenger Line-up he has really just hovered in the background looking cool, but really hasn't done a whole lot... even in his origin issue. I hope he gets an upgrade along with many of the other newbies.
I'm just always confused when comic companies add characters to a group then just use the old members. This could be such a fresh title if they'd only let it be.
They do need to pull back on the captain america and iron man in everything.. let the new group in Avengers run things and take care of things on their own.. let cap and iron spend their time in their own books and in New Avengers.
Always liked the cosmic side of things and Silver Surfer was just a cool character back then to me (still is now). As far as teams go, this was in my mind the coolest as far as characters I really liked.
superman would have no issues with any of batmans villains... none what so ever ever (unless those villains got lantern rings). He in comic reality could have all evil in gotham cleaned out and floating in deadspace in under an hour. Now it's clear that batman's villains are crazy enough to try (aka crazy enough to die). Not even the most hardcore batman fan could ever really think any of these guys have even a slim chance of even making it interesting.
