@SupremeHyperion: or the Avengers yelling out "Assemble" or Superman yelling out "Up, Up and Away" or the Thing yelling out "It's clobberin' time" or Namor saying "Imperius Rex!" or the scores of supervillains explaining their plans then saying "DESTROY THEM!' ^_^
Actually those are just catch phrases used by those characters. what you guys are talking about in here would be something like if Captain America said "shield toss attack" every time he threw it or if Cyclops shouted "sonic lazer eye blast" every instance he zapped something.
neither, ryan is green lantern and should not be deadpool, jim is too old and not at all athletic enough. if they were smart they'd pick jason statham, badass and funny.
making a new fury was lame atleast they could have done was make his right eye the bad one. lame I was really interested in this story but hated what they were doing and left it alone.
I think the flash as a main character for DC has given writers a chance to build him up and make him ridiculously awesome while Silver being held back as a secondary character has limited his progress through the lets overpower everyone phase so he is always going to be behind until a Marvel writer tries to add in something to make him seem at a higher level. (maybe have him pick up some chinese food that he hasn't even ordered yet?)
Tony Stark if he was in DC he would have already killed superman.
no but he has had everything and lost everything (rinse repeat) and remains one of the more powerful forces in the Marvel U. Lex is cool and rich but just a tad behind Stark. Not to mention I even think Lex's armor suit is Stark Tech :)
I think it's silly but that's how anime/manga fans learn what the attacks are they use, plus in almost all ninja media, games ect. they always call out their moves sort of like casting a spell. The closest in comics I can see to calling out your moves is the Hulk when he proclaims "Hulk Smash" pretty basic but to the point. :) and No comics does not need to do this.
