Great list, but what about the likes of Hush, Civil War, Watchmen (or have you not read them?)

@johnkmccubbin91: Not much of a Marvel reader. Most I do is Daredevil, Immortal Iron Fist, there were because of Ed Brubaker.

Hush, not read. More into Tim Drake than I am Batman. However, I would like to read it.

Watchmen is a great read, but, me personally, I enjoyed other stories more.

All these absolutes and no Absolute Sandman? For shame, SM. For shame.

@supreme_marvel: I thought you'd have been into Marvel with the name Supreme Marvel, but obviously not.

@supreme_marvel: Ahh! Never thought of Shazam (as I think of him mainly as Shazam opposed to Captain Marvel) but it makes perfect sense.

Is the third trade of Immortal Iron Fist missing or have you not read it yet? And Fraction did most work on the title :p

@billy_batson: Read them all. But come on, Brubaker was all over this with his writing. :P I'll have to re-read it, only Brubaker stuff stuck with me. Do you know if they released the one-off issues? Because I love the The Story of the Iron Fist Wu Ao-Shi story.

Nah, Brubaker does noir and espionage and this was mostly about martial arts and. Matt did some of the issues by himself and iirc Brubaker's given most of the credit to Fraction :p

They're collected in the third one.

@billy_batson: Well, I guess that needs to go in this list then.

Wrong issue :p

But since you like Brubaker, have you read his Criminal or Sleeper? And to dump some other recommendations I think you'd like Astro City, Casanova and Human Target.

@billy_batson: I remember when lists used to be easy.

I have not read them stories. I tried to get into Astro City, I didn't overly enjoy Busiek's Superman work until I read Secret Identity. WHICH I SHOULD ADD. Human Target, that the comic that the TV show was made (and cancelled) of? Not read the others, no.

Lol :p

The first issue of Astro City is free on comixology and he used a Superman homage and I thought was pretty great.

Not the comic that was based on the show but Milligan's run in which he explores personality. The last eleven issues haven't been collected, though <.<

@billy_batson: I have the first issue of Astro City. Do you mean the old issues of Astro or new?

I'll do some research into Human Target and find where to start.

Old. The latest volume has only two issues out and I haven't read them yet :p

There's a four issue mini that's been collected twice, the latest trade with an ogn called Chance Meetings.
