Shazam should have his own continuity series!

Personally, I've always thought that he should have his own series. And now with the return of the wizard Shazam, I think now is the time it should get started. I like Freddy, but I've loved Billy for a long time and I would like to see him back as Captain Marvel. With his own series he could then participate more in the DC Universe continuity easier. Instead of just coming into Justice Society of America.

If it did come about, I would like to see either Geoff Johns, Judd Winick or J. Michael Straczynski.

Would you like to see this happen?

I'd like to see Winick or maybe Simone do it. I like Johns a lot, but I don't want the majority of what I read to come only from him.

Do you think Simone would be a good writer for a god? I see her more of the martial arts characters. But then again...I could be wrong.

Give her a chance. Secret Six and Wonder woman were done very well.

I would give her a chance. I like her stuff. And maybe that's what Captain Marvel needs. Good combat as well.

I said it before and I'll say it again, J. Michael Strazskinsi said that he would be working on another unannounced DC series, I really hope it's Captain Marvel

billy does need to be cap again but if they made one it cant be the little kids version and he would have to be captain marvel 80% of the time. I also love black adam but if captain marvel is a kid i think black adam should be like a school bully at billy's school when he isnt black adam or at least an atheletic rivalery, i just think that would be funny. I would think about picking it up. didnt billy become the gaurdian for the rock of eternity?

I thought that all the marvels lost their powers anyways. i thought the wizard came back and took them all from everyone?

Degraaf, read Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam if you want Adam as a high school bully. Ans Shazam did take away their powers, but Freedy's powers were connected to something else as Shazam said so.

so i must have missed that. i was wrong about this whole thread though. i thought it was about marvel not shazam. i think marvel should get his powers back from shazam.

I just read marvels page, if shazam can do everthing that lord marvel could do than is he more powerful than spectre?

also if lord marvel spoke shazams word "Vlarem" could he than become more powerful or did he already have those power once he became lord marvel because he had everything shazam had
