actually staying around to help rebuild things after the latest mutant/monster/threat to come around demolishes stuff would probably be a good idea.

Have a meeting with the president.

Helping with public works or something.

Not have guys like Magneto on their team. I mean, he WAS the guy who's tried to obliterate the human race on more than one occasion. Add to that the fact that, as far as the public's concerned, he tried to massacre the entire city of New York. Hard to have a good public relations image when you have the mutant equivalent of Hitler on your team.

Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson would fit well (muscular, tall, bronze)... cept it'd be weird to see him with blonde hair. *shrugs*

Dolph Lundgren could work... though he's a bit old.. and occasionally the English language gives him problems.

It'd either have to be someone who already fits most of the requirements, or someone who doesn't mind doing some serious bulking up in muscle.

It's no surprise that Rocket Raccoon kicks ass. He's been seriously awesome in the latest Marvel Space Operas.

Well most fans have known that she kicks some royal ass... just that she never got much of a chance to shine in Marvel till now. She went through a phase where she was seen simply as "Female Thor", (and being stuck in the Defenders didn't exactly help matters) and was (for some reason) overlooked by fans. Hell Wonder Woman's been having trouble and she's WONDER WOMAN. The recent Ms. Marvel series was awesome, like REALLY awesome, but fan interest seemed to suddenly fizzle out after a while.

I'd chance a guess that one of the reasons could be tie-ins to big crossovers, where their main narratives have to be either completely changed or put on sudden hold to make way for huge changes in the overall Marvel universe. Because She-Hulk's recent series have been fun and cool... but seemed to fizzle out after big-ass crossovers.

They're not 90's enough to fit into the New 52. You can't give them crappy Image-inspired costumes... and they don't have breasts... so swimsuits are out the question... so no.... I seriously doubt we'll see these two for a while. :P

Now all we need is Batgirl and Ace the Bat-hound and all would be perfect.

Well they obviously play a big role in his development. We've seen versions of Supes in alternate worlds where he was raised by others and turned out very differently. Your parents play a huge role in your development over the years, for better or worse, and obviously having Ma & Pa around played a big role in shaping Superman.

So without them, he apparently becomes a douche.

@DoomDoomDoom:

It's a fun series of short stories, some by accomplished writers (like the guy who wrote the "Anno Dracula" stories). The only complaint I would have is some of the heroes are pretty obscure at times.

This website helped though.

Hope you enjoy the Shadowmen stories.

Aren't they going to be bringing the Punisher into this universe now that the rights have reverted back to Marvel???
