@nightwing91: Thanks! So, Red Robin and Legion of Super-Heroes are good ones to read? If so, I'll definitely pick them up. I subscribe to Batman Beyond (by the way, I bought the previous miniseries so i would be caught up), and DCU Online Legends. I'll add Teen Titans, Red Robin, and LoSH to the list. Thanks again!
I need a little help. I just got into comics and the reason was to read the DC Universe Online Legends comic to see what the back story is and because I heard that an ongoing Batman Beyond series is starting and I loved that cartoon. I love these two comics, especially because they are stories in and of themselves. You don't have to buy five comics a month to understand what is going on. So my first question is, are there any other comics like this that I can get into?
Also, I recently tried an issue of Teen Titans but at the end it said "continued next month in Red Robin." Is Teen Titans always like that? And the local comic shop has all ten issues of the new Legion of Super-Heroes comic, would this be a good one to read? Oh, and I've read All-Star Superman-- loved it, and Kingdom Come-- REALLY loved it. My favs are Superman and Batman. So, I guess my overall second question would be, what are the best stories/comics in the DC Universe I can read to really understand what is going on?
" @Jake Fury: Yeah, sometimes it can be a bit tiring with all those retcons and crisis and stuff.
I totally agree. I was so pumped about this comic because it is a story within itself. You don't have to go out and buy Blackest Night, Green Lantern: Blackest Night, Green Lantern Corps: Blackest Night, Superman: Blackest Night etc etc etc. It is one comic with one story. LOVE IT.
Hey guys, I just finished the new DC Universe Online Legends Comic Book and I have a couple questions. I was hoping maybe you could help me out.
Question 1: Who is this?
Question 2 Are the heroes being killed in the picture below or what? Because in the new game expansion trailer, "In Lex We Trust," Batman is alive, with a bionic arm and severely damaged head from where the Joker shot him with a rocket launcher in the first preview of the game. The trailers can be found here if you haven't seen them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efa2xzhj0HE and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7Nf-m6WGl4
So if Batman lives, what exactly is happening in this pic?
